The English language is the universal Language. We use this to communicate with other people around the globe. The better you speak English, the better communicator you are, and the more chance of getting a better job. Many people are studying this Language like the Koreans, Iranians, Germans, Filipinos, etc. Are you one of them? or English is your native Language? How good are in English? Do you care about it? Do you love English?

It is very difficult to make our English perfect. Nobody is perfect. Even the natives cannot do it perfectly. How much more those people who made English their second language. Since pre-school we are thought the basic English but then still we cannnot make it perfectly. If you are a good speaker of English, a lot of opportunity will come to you. Nowadays call center is on the rise. Some are paying high enough. In my case, I keep on studying English language because it is really an advantage. It is true that if your English is good, then you are a good communicator.

Hello DOn. Nobody is perfect, but I am a nobody, therefore I am perfect. Practice makes perfect, but nobody is perfect, so why practice. Right?

I'm German but I speak fluent English.
People don't even know that I'm from Germany unless I tell them.

My English isn't anywhere close to being perfect. There is always room for improvement, and there are always questionable words being added to the Dictionary. I refuse to acknowledge octomom as being a real word. Web 2.0 was added to the Oxford English Dictionary, which is a complete and utter crock when you stop and think about it.
It isn't even a word, its a phrase. The people who decided to put it in the dictionary may as well had added a bunch of leet speak, and lolcat quotes as well.
English isn't really the universal language. I thought the universal language was love? the term "universal language" would suggest that everyone would have the same amount of understanding about it by default. We are all somewhat oblivious to the the exact science of love(thus, we all have an equal chance of experiencing it in our lifetime), but not everybody speaks English.

Hello cbjones. I can say that you can speak English well. Wow, what an intelligent response. Still, English is the universal language in a way that people throughout the world with thousands of different languages are able to commnucicate with one another by speaking English.

I am a Filipino. To be honest, I didn't want to communicate using English. I only use it when I am forced especially during English classes at school. I never thought that it would help me at all and besides, I was never good at it. But here I am now, trying to use English to answer your questions. Funny isn't it? The language that I hated the most is now my means of communication. The language that I didn't think that would help me at all is now a source of income. I contradicted all my thoughts about English and now, I am beginning to love it.:)

Possessing perfect English used to be one of my widest dreams, though it looks a little bit far away, but I am on the way of making it come ture. Actually, I once gave up studying English after my graduation from university then now I have to pick it up cause I have to face English-speaking foreigners everyday. The better English I can say,the less misunderstanding or mistake will happen.Frankly,I can say I have been spending so much time learning English but it doesn't go well.I think I failed to find a right way fit for me,hopefully mylot will bail me out.

My native language is English. I don't think there is such a thing as perfect English..it changes all the time. There are constantly words and phrases that change and it depends on where you live as to how some things are said. My second language is Spanish and it is everchanging too.

My English is definitely not perfect since... you know... English is not my native language. I am from Indonesia and not all people here speak good or perfect English. There is always a difference between good English and perfect English, actually. As far as I am concerned, people with good English are clearly understood. They can express their ideas and thoughts clearly and I also think that these type of people have the working knowledge of good grammar. I sometimes feel that it is hard to have a perfect English but I don't think it matters. The basic idea of communication, in my opinion, is that we understand what messages our opponents want to convey and vice versa. Cheers and Happy myLotting.

I can speak basic english but I am not that fluent and that confident, written and verbally. When someone talking to me in english i rather choose not to answer and stay quite. When I do a presentation, I just read it and i do not elaborate the details. I know it is easy to learn and I been asking my self why i can't learn this stuff aside from math. Maybe I'm just a stupid. hehehe. I am still working on it. I hope time will come that I can speak and write english fluently. Need more practice I guess and one way of doing this is through mylot.

I agree that English is universal language and only natives can perfect it or people who have been brought up in countries where English is native language but you would be surprised to ote that many native too are found wanting a per purist form of the language while others who do not have English as their first language can use it well enough.

My English is not perfect. I think its not the perfection in language thats more important. It is whether your feelings are conveyed to the listening person or not thats more important. What say ?

English is my primary language.. I would not say I am an expect of the language.. Yes speaking proper English does get you a better job, among other things.. I try to expand my vocabulary all of the time.. I do know a couple words and phases in different languages, but nothing to really brag about.. Yes I love English, it is a way for me to communicate with other people.. I would not say that its the best language or anything like that.. Since it is the only one I really know..
