Pictures don' t look like you?

Personally believe that or not is not as important what kind of heart is important and not pay attention to what other people only look at how to maintain the confidence of their own like that

Just be your self and believe in yourself. pictures are reflection of your inner-self. If you are happy and feel good your picture will be good but if you always try to look good and never satisfied with your self then no matter what you do, your picture will always be disappointed. just remember smile! I think the camera is more scared to take my pictures cos I will end up disgusted and frustrated seeing seeing my pics as they look horrible. My snapshots will end up in the bin. I am not a photogenic person and that is the reason I do not like my photos taken. But when I was younger, heaven knows how sweet I was. Only with little make-up I can be mistaken for a beauty queen.. Now that age has erased every bit of my youth leaving me with sagging and flatten features that is not worthy of a camera pose.ha...ha..ha..

there are times that i dislike the picture. i am not a photogenic person so that explains quite a lot. recently, i had to get a passport sized photo for my resume. a colleague looked at the photo and started laughing. another colleague actually said that she'd take another photo to send with the resume. guess i don't really look good on that photo.

that's right, i also don't look quite nice in photo i guess it's just that i'm not photogenic

Sometimes, though sometimes I'm not. The end result isn't always the same. LOL That's why it's probably best to take a bunch of pictures to get one or 2 that you're satisfied with. For the most part the pictures of me look like me. Though like you my husband took a lot of pictures of me before we got the one that I'm using as my avatar picture. As you can see we finally agreed on this one!

I dont want take pictures of me I look horrible

yeah i am happy with the result even some of the taken photos looks bad..or even it looks not like me..i am still happy then..what can i do, if that's God's given gift to me..i born like this and i'm so happy with this..picture are only picture they are not real, what is real is my personal looks.

yeah sometime i feel pictures are much better ,i mean we look good in pictures.it all depends on the light effects if we take pictures when there is good light the result is good.even some times pictures can be deceptive than original self

That depends, sometimes the picture will better than the real me, and I'm happy to put it on the websites, Haha.And if the picture worse than the real me, and looks ugly, I will get ride of that picture, actually the picture always make me fat, that make me crazy.

Hello Margajoe!!! Well the picture we see with the photograph is more accurate to how actually we look than the image in the mirror. Because in the mirror, your image is just opposite. That is the right part of you become the left part of your image and the left part become the right part in the image. I forgot what term is used for this translation. Anyway, what i mean to say is clear. But in the photograph, there is no such translation. And therefore give more accurate picture about how we look. We can't see our real face easily. Only in the photographs you can see how you really look. Sometimes, I wonder I could see myself like I am seeing other hehe...But that is not possible... And about the picture, that really depends on how good the picture come it. Sometimes, the pictures look bad that how we actually are and sometimes the picture come out very nice than how we are isn't. So there are good pictures as well as bad pictures. So, I can't say that the pictures don't like me. If I have to say I don't like my pictures, that means to say that I don't like my face... Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends on who is taking the picture and how good they are and the lighting, all sorts of factors.

Haha,I think I am a beautiful lady,but most fo the photos are not satisfying,so lot of photos have been deleted.I think the one in the mirror looks like me,but photos,they may be fuzzy.haha!

So I am not alone in this! All along I thought it to be a mental malady of mine…I could never identify the me I see in the mirror with the me I see in my photos…so much so that I have actually stopped my pix being taken! I am not a beauty but my features are all there in right proportions so when I look at myself in the mirror, I see an OK person smiling back…alright, maybe my left jaw is a little twisted and my upper teeth a lil high but it doesn’t look so prominent in the mirror but when you see my pix! OMG….you would be forgiven for thinking I got hit on the jaw by a champion boxer…the jaw looks so twisted! And I look so fat….nah! I like myself better in the mirror.

It is really odd. I hate pictures of me. I rarely take them because as you say what I see in the mirror and what comes out in a picture do not look the same. I have a thin face. I am over weight but not as much as a picture makes me look. The pictures make my face even look fat, so what gives? It's kind of like they say about tv that it puts 15 pounds on you well when I take a picture it puts 50 pounds on me. I just don't get it. I also look as white as a sheet in a picture. I am pale but not white, white. I guess now you know why you never see pictures of me, or hardly ever anyway.

I hate having my picture taken, no matter what they always come out looking cruddy, well at least I think so, my man loves most of them. I guess they look like me, but the camera does add some pounds (at least that is my excuse and my nose always looks really pointy, but in life, it is little a little piggies or so i have been told. lol So for the most part, no my pictures suck, every now and again maybe one is fifty, do i like one of the pictures taken of me.

sometimes i dont feel like it is me in some of my pictures and often times i dont like its outcome. well i dont know why i dont really see myself that attractive. but sometimes, those pictures are so deceiving even i could think that i become a lot more attractive and beautiful. some even use photoshop to edit their features so that they may look, well, though quite diffrent but still totally not them. jhelai

Haha I don't think so.Photos and in the mirror i think it's all great,and i don't find different between those.By the way you look nice.I always like take pictures and put them on-line.This is my habit haha. Have a nice day!

Haha,it is a interesting question.And I think I will not happy with the result that my pictures do not look like me.But maybe it doesn't a serious matter.
