Has a movie ever scared you so much that you acted weirdly afterwards?

I watched Halloween again after many years, and unlike the first time, I kept seeing Mike as a young boy everywhere......it creeped me out. I was also frightened of people in masks for a while..

When I was little Amityville Horror scared me. I had a nightmare about blood coming out of the walls. Now I don't get scared by horror movies. I have seen so many that I think I am desensatized (is that a word? by them.

Wow. I think it's desensitized actually but whatever. I think I watched Amityville Horror but I don't remember, I definitely need to watch it again!

I'm trying to think of a movie, but none come to mind. I'm pretty sure that there are some I saw as a kid that gave me nightmares or something. Like maybe something in the dark I saw that wasn't really there. As a kid the halloween movie did freak me out, I'm talking about the ol'skool one. I saw it again and I just wasn't moved by it. I thought it was a little boring. I thought to myself if I was an editor, I would have cut a lot of parts out of it. Knock it down to half an hour or something. Good movie, though. :) Well, I was just thinking about halloween pt.2, the one with all the bugs and worms coming out of the kids' masks after they watched the commercial on tv. And then a tv show I had just seen the other night, popped into my mind. It's on the animal planet channel, it's called Monsters inside of Me. It's about parasites that feed on humans. Real stories! After watching that show I was a little freaked out how easy it was to get one of these parasites, tapeworms, larva inside of me. The next time I saw that the show was coming on I turned the channel and said to myself," No, not tonight."

Yes I have. Especially when I watch a scary movie late at night and it actually scared me. I will start to hear things that are not there and it will keep me from sleep. When I do fall asleep I will end up having nightmares (if the movie was scary enough). It never really lasts long though, it usually only lasts for the rest of the night. The next day I am fine. The only time that it has lasted a long time was when I was a child.

I saw Friday the 13th a few months ago and scary movies usually don't weird me out but this one did. After that I was home with my girlfriend and the rest of my family was out somewhere and we heard a noise downstairs. We thought someone else was in the house! I used to play baseball so I have a few wood bats in my closet in my room. We both grabbed bats and walked around back to back (so we had the 360 degrees view) throughout my house looking for some sort of criminal/killer. At one point I thought I heard breathing and we were soo spooked that we ran to the garage, jumped in my car and drove straight to McDonald's and calmed our fears over some sweet tea and waited an hour for my parents to get home.
