We had a great time, two of my sons were there.
My mother who is 84 was there, I had one of my
sisters there. We had a cookout and sang gospel
music, everyone had a great time.
What about you MyLotters, what did you do ? We
also got to see fireworks on Friday and Saturday
nights.

Sounds like ya'll had a great time. Here in Waco, Tx it was really too hot to do anything outside. I waited patiently for the show A Capital 4ht on PBS to air. Good music and songs. Loved the Jersey Boys and of course my Hero, Barry Manilow. Then the fireworks from Washington as well as the New York and Boston shows. All very patriotic.

I know this might be a really late reply. But I had a wonderful fourth. It started out kind of not too good because it rained all day. I threw a big party with a friend, and we had a bunch of people showed up. It was quite hectic trying to entertain everyone because I was only able to be at one place at a time. At the end of the night, I threw on a small fireworks show, and had a great time.

I'm afraid our 4th was on the boring side. We usually go to the beach and spend the 4th with my family, which is great because we can go out on the deck and look at fireworks going off all around us.
This time, we stayed home and the kids were already in bed (tuckered out!) Fireworks were about half an hour away, so we missed them. The day before, we did go to a baseball game/cookout for the 4th, so that was pretty cool!
