I remember about my first job, was so long time ago....my God, i am old, was first time when i had in my pocket my own money, who i earn with my own hands and head.
Don t were a big job, but i like to remember about my first salary, i was so proud really, and i buy something for everybody from my family.
Of course that in just 2 days i finished all my money...but were real money, from my work...i was so big, and when i go to make some shopping with "my money"...i want tell everybody..."this are my money, i can earn money, i am a big girl now"
Even now i keep a little box, for jewelery, who i buy with my first salary. And inside i keep my payment prove.
Do you remember about your first job, about your first money who you gain with your hands?

Yes i have memories about my first job but it was not long time ago.I was there just for training in a big company and never got any salary. It was in a place very far from my home. The people in the company were good as i had to interact with most of them. The food in the company was very good.We got different types of foods in the afternoons.I felt sad when i had to leave after a month.

I do remember my first job yes. I was just a teenager and very young. I really enjoyed it though and yes I felt like I was all grown up and independent. I really enjoyed having a job, being independent, not having to ask my parents for money when I wanted to buy something for myself. It was a great feeling.

My first job was when I was still in high school. I was proud of myself then because it was not common for kids my age (then) to work. I worked at a summer reading camp. Technically, my first real job was around 12 years back as a secretary while I was still at college. I've always handed over my salary to my parents (before marriage). My parents never used the money for household expenses and kept the money in an acount in my name...and handed it to me when I was married. Now, I have an account of my own where my salary is deposited.

I certainly have very good memories of my first job. It was fun and interesting and I learned a lot of things.
The people I worked with were great and it was nice to have my own money. Money that didn't come from my parents.
Actually I started working as an act of rebellion but then I actually enjoyed it.
I about 18 years old, and my first job was a summer job, that actually turned into my job for two years.
Great memories, for sure :)

My first money came from my part-time job. I bought grocery for my family. But unfortunately my first work last only for 2 weeks. I can't work any longer. I'm crying and I was thinking to my parents how they can work for a decade just to feed us. I know how difficult the life is..

i have been working ever since i was a kid, odd jobs...
but the firs real job i got was that summer job when i was in college. i was a bundler, and it was field. id go from supermarket to supermarket binging free products from a certain company, mostly those of procter (P&G), shampoos, soap, then it is to be added on certain products as free, bundle them together. i did liked that job since i was able to go places even if it was hard carrying boxes of stuff.
the money i earned i gave to my mom, i only get a few amount for myself. felt great since i was able to help my family.

i have nice memories of my first job. i was young and i joined as a teacher in a kindergarten school. Oh how nice it was i really enjoyed my time with the tiny tots. i liked to teach them learning playing singing dancing.....
the salary was small but job satisfaction was great. now though i get a considerably more money the work is drudgery.
those were the days, some times i think....

I don't know about nice memories lol. I just started driving and decided to go get a job at a carwash. The hours were great b/c it closed early enough for me to do my homework and get to bed on time to wake for school the next morning. It was closed on Sunday's which gave me time to spend with my family and closed at 6 on Saturdays so I could still have fun at night. I think I was making $5.25 an hour lol. I quit when summer came b/c it was just too hot being out there all day long in the heat.

I certainly do have memories about my first job, some very pleasant, some very frustrating ! Ha Ha. It was very pleasant because that was the type of job I wanted because it fits my educational background. Very frustrating because there were things I have never heard of before ! My first salary ? Oh , yea ! I bought a nice CD Player, enjoyed my favorite songs in the evenings !

i remember my first job, it was a sales clerk in a grocery store, stocking and assisting costumer, and i ask my boss if i can work as a cashier because it seems to be easy job, but my boss said i need to under go being a clerk, i was frustrated as i need to stand all day long, but getting my first salary was so great as i earn my own money i gave some to my mom to help out. but sadly i only stayed 4 months at that job, its kind a hard job not pay much. but it was a great experience for me.

They were actually mostly bad memories, but not because of the job itself. I wanted to work when I was eleven but in my state there are labor laws that say you must be fourteen. When I turned fourteen I got a job at a dry cleaner.
It was the first time I realized how people are truly miserable on a wide-scale. No matter how nice I was at the counter when I greeted customers, only the rare person would smile and be nice back. I went home the first day after work and remember telling my mom, "I had no idea people were so mean."
I've worked in a few customer service jobs, and have the highest amount of respect for all customer service representatives for just being able to do the job. It takes a lot of patience and understanding to deal with strangers that usually act like teething children. Of course, that respect grows even more for the customer service workers who can do the job RIGHT and with a smile...that takes even more hard work!

I got my first job when I was about 21 years old. My parents wanted me to focus on my studies, but I thought I was old enough to start earning my own money. I applied to be a dishwasher or work in a group home with developmentally disabled adults. Guess which one I got. (I don't have dishpan hands). I was really excited at first, but when I realized that I would have to help some of these people toilet, and I would be pulling 24 hour shifts every weekend, and that I would have to learn self defense because some of the clients lashed out... well, the novelty wore off. I stayed for quite awhile--more than a year--but I left before I graduated. I wasn't making much money, and it was interfering with my studies. I don't regret the experience, but it wasn't the place for me.

I remember my first job pretty well. My mother told me that I had to earn money for my own car, so I had to find a job within walking distance. My best friend and I applied at the local grocery store - a good 20 minute walk from home. I was 15 at the time. We both got the job pretty quickly, baggers (courtesy clerks, lol). We would bag groceries for minimum wage and accept dime tips from old ladies. The worst was having to bring in the shopping carts from the parking lot. Man, I hated that part. To this day I am still very precise in how I bag my groceries.

My current job is my second job, I can memorize most of the details about my first job. And I always try to compare it with my first job. There are a lot of memories about my first job, like my first day work, my first salary, my boss, my colleagues. Even I and my friends don't contact very often, but we were getting very well.
I admit that I had a good time there,

Yes, I remember my first job. Right after my high school, while waiting for my results, I entered the securities company and assisted a remisier. My first pay for a month is RM600, and later due to CNY, I have half a month bonus. So proud and feel so good.
