browsing bandwidth is 2MBps....downloading bandwidth is 250Kbps....
this is the wider bandwidth offered by BSNL in my nation...Airtel has 16MBps, but to use airtel, my father should spend RS.3000 per month for my internet connection, that is in our country we are limited with the bandwidth...
it will take years to improve like foreign to use DSL...probably in future my son might be using a bandwidth of 1MBps for downloading, that too it is difficult ..
oops im 19 now...

thanks for the info on stars. honestly 256kbps for download speed is bad. you need to upgrade to at least 1mbps to really appreciate surfing.

I use DSL from AT&T and I would be lost to ever have to go back to dial up. After getting used to the download speeds with a faster internet connection it would be hard to go back to dial up.

Mine is a broadband connection giving a speed of just 25-30 kbps. That is really slow considering some of the other broadband users are getting 150 kbps connection speed in my area. I use a BSNL unlimited connection. The good thing about this is i never get disconnected from the internet and i can use it as long as i can.

I have Wireless ADSL, according to Speedtest.net I get 2.62 MBPS Download and 0.36 Upload, it is quite fast and I can't complain although it would be nice to have something faster for bigger downloads, i'm thinking about getting fibre optic, not sure it'll be worth the hassle though

Hey,
Well we use ADSL 2+ so we get speeds at about 20MBps and that is quite good I mean. Because we don't really use the Internet for many tasks that require a lot of speed and bandwidth, I think that it is adequate enough for us. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

Mine is Broadband with ADSL..Always working bad..I can not have the connectivity for more than 2 hours continuously. I can not download anything which is not supporting download resuming.Only I can download files upto 40-50 MB.No support from the ISP even after many complaints..Now I am in the idea of changing my service provider after this month.
