I should say you aren't allowed to discuss about your earnings on mylot, I'm not pointing your problem of low earning but, of you asking 'How much money you make per day without including your referral income..?' Questions such as this are considered discussion of earnings and will not be tolerated by mylot, I am just saying not speaking rules. Ok, coming to your problem, you say you do make quality posts everyday, but still your daily earnings are low, let me see,
# how many response post do you make per day?
# how many Discussions do you create per day?
# Do you comment on the responses for your discussion?
# Do you post facts or stories?
# Are your posts descriptive and understandable?
Maybe there can be some more things you want to check but I believe if you correct errors to answers of these questions, you earnings will show some improvement. I see you have 200+ posts and no star, what's with it? I have a star and so do all the members who are above 100 posts. First you check what happened to your star, it plays a role in your earnings as well. Second see to that your posts aren't rude(this post of mine might sound rude because it is about rules :) ), else if they are rude and negative to the topic of discussion, the mylotties may mark you negative which will cause a drop-down for your star. you can try answerig those questions and see if you have everything right.
If you still have problem in your earnings or with the star contact the mylot team, I'm sure they will be happy to help.
Happy Lotting :)

You are right in stating that this person shouldn't be asking what we make, the thing is the person needed guidance in how to work Mylot. You gave a good response and I like it even with the statement of the earnings part. New members need to learn this as soon as possible so that they learn not to make that mistake again. It is good to point it out.
Good Questions also. They are good questions for each of us to look at for ourself to know we are doing well in Mylot. The other comments have also pointed out some good directions as well.

Hi there, I wonder how many discussions you start in a day and how many discussions you respond to everyday?
Here's some few tips and I hope it can help boost your earnings here,
First, when you start a discussion, do not make a one liner one. Try to make a quality discussion.
Second, do not abandon your responders, when you receive response, comment to your responder as it helps boost your earnings.
Upload a picture appropriate with your dicussion, uploading picture can earn you a few cents.
Respond to as many as you can. When you respond make it long and sensible. Make it minimum of 5 to 8 lines. Make sure your response is relevant to the post.
Hope this can help you in any ways. Happy mylotting.

I do not start many discussions, but what i do is try to respond to about 30 or 40 discussions each day. and i try to make each reply at least 4 lines long. I do not do this all at one sitting i check back a few times a day to see what is new. and as you make friends it make it easier to be involved with their discussions because you have some of the same interests as they do, and then it goes a lot faster each day.

It is different amounts each day. Just go to interests, and pick out some of the things that you are interested in, and soon you will notice that the same people are responding to the discussions all you do is go to their profile page and request to be their friend.

Only 5 cents a day, wow that's really weird. I never hear anyone saying that is all they make here. You must be really active in responding to as many discussions everyday that you can and then you will see your earnings increase dramatically over the next couple of days that you do this. Try going one day with out even starting a discussion and see were you get with just responding to discussions. Most days i never even post a new discussions unless i think it is a really good one and worth someones time to respond to it. Hopefully this was of great help to you and have a great day mylotting.

Make sure that you discussions are around 5 lines in length - the more the better, and make sure you are including details. A lot of people tend to just ramble instead of actually providing details in order to hit the 5 line mark and if you are doing that (unsure, I haven't looked at your responses) then you really aren't helping yourself out.
A good measure too is that post people will make around 1-3 cents per quality response. So therefore for some people they reach minimum payout at around 300-350 posts whereas others won't hit it till 500-1000 posts. It all depends on the time and effort you put into your post.
I would suggest getting a spell check on your browser so therefore you don't have any of those mistakes to hinder your earnings and I would also suggest in some of your replies posting things like links etc. to show people where you are getting information (if the discussion allows)
And I'm not sure if this concerns you, but there are some discussions that are against the TOC and won't earn money. So I would go through the TOC and see what they are. Because if you are responding to those discussions you aren't going to earn anything for them.

The best thing I can tell you to do is to go over the guidelines again. I am not doubting your word, that is to say, I believe you when you say your posts have quality. I can recommend to you to type as much out as possible as to the side it says "Please be as descriptive as possible". That is there to tell people to write as much as they can, with as much quality understanding as they can. Also a tip I can suggest to you is to comment on others responses, on your own discussion or even on others as well. When you respond to someone's discussion, find another person's viewpoint that you agree or disagree with and respond to it. If it's something you disagree with be as polite as possible. Start a good structural argument, but don't let it go to far. If it does, withdraw yourself, apologizing if need be.
I hope that my advice has been most helpful to you and please don't hesitate to ask me any more questions as you see fit.

You should start from finding a topic that is really interesting for you so you could write more and make longer posts.Be active, comment back.Try to do some tasks to increase your earnings.I think doing tasks helps a lot with your earnings here.If you want to earn more, you should use other sites too.Sites with high earnings require more risque, though.

If you start a good discussion you need to participate in those discussions as well. In other words when someone responds, add a comment to the responses, not a two or three word comment, something that can add to the content.
Also go and respond to discussions, there are plenty to respond to. I know it is hard at first. I try to post at least 10 responses per day. I don't always hit that, and lately I have been responding to 20 or more in the last few days. It doesn't pay alot but its more than 5 cents a day.
I am sorry that you haven't been able to do more than that. It does take ALOT of time and patience each day. I hope it works out better for you soon.

Are you sure about that? Yesterday i only got 5 cents because i only spent 3 minutes responding to one members topic and then left Mylot because I have lots of things to do. Anyway to answer your question, you must have been so busy posting your own topic, well in that case, you need to change something if you wanted to earn more than 5 cents.
Respond to other members topic. be sure you constructed a meaningful and useful 4 to 5 sentence structure and be sure per post would be 2 cents for you. Just be happy that Mylot gives us a chance to post unlimited here as long as we follow rules and not violate anything from the rules.
You don't need to depend on referrals to earn money here. I have been depending on my own since most of my referrals are inactive and busy at work. So most of the time, i earn it because of hard work and patience. How much time do you devote on Mylot?

I don't have any referrals for mylot, and I usually make about 25 to 50 cents per day. You need to be sure to post quality content that can be helpful to other users. That goes for picking posts to answer, too. I have noticed that if I post in topics about earning money, my earnings are pretty low. When I post in other topics, I tend to make a lot more.
Also, you need to provide more than a sentence for a reply. Ideally, this site likes to see at least four lines. I also suggest following up on the comments on your posts. If someone replies to you, reply back. You still earn from those, and it provides for more in depth answers.

I made 2 cents the first day on just one response; the second day I made 7 cents on 3 or 4 responses; the 3rd day I made 9 cents on about 4 or 5 responses; and today I made 25 cents on the 11 responses I posted yesterday. I'm thinking the key is in the quality of the post, not just the number. I'm not sure how many posts you do for 5 cents/day. I was used to responding to discussion questions in my Masters level classes online, and those had to be very thorough responses. I think it important to pick questions to respond to that allow you to make a thorough response. I believe it should also be something unique [not the same as everyone else is saying]. While you may agree with others, you should have something personal in it that makes it uniquely yours. It must have substance to it; for example, you should give examples of what it is you are talking about. Examples give support and substance to your writing. Description and detail may also be important. Something else that may help improve your writing - use the preview button and catch all those typos before you put your post out for the world to see. These are just a few ideas from someone who hopes to tutor writing online someday soon.

I agree with you that the responses that people give should be as detailed as possible. Sometimes though when you post a discussion and have a ton of responses it is incredibly hard to give a unique answer to each or every one of the responses that you get. Sometimes so many of the responses are almost the same verbatim that you have to skim your responses and then pick the best ones to respond to if there are a huge number of them. I try to go everyday to answer my responses, but it is nearly impossible with my schedule so I do the best I can. I give every person who responded a rating but choose responses carefully, kinda, when there are pages and pages of them.

Nothing is guaranteed in here, and that is for sure, as all of our earnings in here varies to a lot of factors over time for sure. I know that when it comes to earnings the biggest thing is to not let it distract you to where you become discouraged and want to give up posting here.
Some of the things I have learned in the 2 1/2+ yrs. of being a member here, is to post back to at least 10 New discussions a day if I can, and to remember to post quality responses back when responding back to someone as well. Like remember to stick to the Topic they are talking about, and try to post back with at least 4-6 lines as well.
Also starting New discussions from time to time is good as well. Find topics that others are interested in responding back too, and try your Luck from time to time. Also building and adding to your friends list and learning to trust them is never a bad thing either. Hope this is of some help for you, and Wishing you the Best.

Hi jeeva, It depends totally on the number of posts you make each day and the quality and length of your post. Try to make your posts long with a good amount of information and also start discussions and I am sure you will be able to earn more. Most of us have no referrals here. And even if you do, there is no guarantee that they would be posting actively, so it is best to do your own posting and earn...all the best and happy mylotting

I do not have any referrals, too. So I have to make money all by myself. I also join mylot not for a very long time, just the beginning of this month. I have a goal every day, and I want to reach $10 by the end of this month, though it is a little hard for me. Have a nice time!

hi jeeva! i'm a new member of mylot and i just joined 2 weeks ago. and i've noticed that you have already been a member here for more than a year. however i can see that i almost have the same score as yours. well, i guess if you want to earn more you have to be more active in discussions. try to make a goal each day of how many posts you want to have. and get some of your friends as your referrals man! they can really help you! if you could convince them to join then, i'm pretty sure your earnings will rise. try telling them about mylot and how much fun you have here. that's what i did! hope this helps!
