Would you like to have a baby or is your family complete?
I have a five week old daughter and she delights me. I feel very lucky to have her. I have a fourteen year old son and a two year old son as well.
My sister has a son aged 12, a son aged 9, a daughter aged 6 and a daughter aged 3. People say that she has the perfect family meaning it was lovely she had 2 boys and then 2 girls with a good age gap between each one.

I'm late on responding to this discussion, but having a baby was the most important thing in my life for a long time and still is. I'm so happy to be pregnant now and I can't wait to have our baby boy here. It took us close to three years to have this opportunity and I cherish every moment of it. It's beautiful knowing you're going to be a family and not watching from the sidelines anymore. We want two kids eventually, maybe three.

My family is pretty much complete right now. I used to want to have a bigger family, but I am really quite happy with just our two kids. My kids also have a gap of 3 years between them. I didn't necessarily plan it for that exact time, but I like that it happened this way.

I would love to have another baby or two... it would be nice to give birth to a twin or triplets... although i know that would be difficult but at least i already have a lot of kids and i don't have to go through another pregnancy again...
I want to have like 3 to 4 kids... i already have a daughter so it would be nice to have a son...

I would have loved to have had four children, but it wasn't to be. To me the wonderful thing about having babies is your love for the other children never diminishes, you have the same love, it just goes further. Enjoy your family max.

I think i want to have a baby in my life. Now i feel mylife is to light. just me and my husband. It seems our life still not completed.Sometimes i feel my life is not stable, something will happen. I told my husband if i had a baby maybe i will feel life is stable. but my husband said maybe you will feel more unstable.
Yesterday was saturday. we had visiters. They came back from Dubai to the UK. they and their two children came to visit us. the two boys are five years and two years.
my flat is very small, but they made my flat very messy. They can't leave your eyes from them.
when they left i felt to tired. but my husband told me, it's just a small trouble in their life, when the children grew a little up, they would be a big trouble makers.
Now i feel a little hetitate to be a mother. When you become a mother you would never get rid of the role in your life.

It bothers me when people say "Oh, now she has the perfect family, one of each/two of each!" As though people without one of each gender, or without kids altogether, are not a "perfect family".
I have three boys, and while a 4th kid would be fun, I don't want to start over with a newborn. My boys are 4, 6 and 8. I'm just now getting some independence, and have gone back to work part-time.
They are the "perfect family" for me! I never really wanted any girls, so it's perfect for me. Being happy with the gifts I've been given!

hello! i am still quite young so i don't really know about parenting and stuff. Not sure if i will change my opinion about this but i don't wish to be a parent in the future now. Knowing how much pain i have to go through giving birth and how troublesome kids like me is to my parents...hmmm. no way ;P for know, of course ;P

Frankly speaking, I am willing to spend more time on my career than on babies. However, my mother said "If you don't have baby, you will regret for it when you are too old to take care of yourself".

I have mixed feelings about this. My husband and I have 2 boys, ages 12 and 9. Although I feel that our family is complete my husband does not and wants us to have one more. I have agreed, although a bit reluctantly. It could have something to do with my miscarriage back in 2005. Ever since then I just haven't wanted anymore chilren, whereas it had the opposite affect on my husband.

Yeah as a traditional woman i do dream of a baby from my childhood . i made it early this year to have a lovely boy . It's a pity that we can only have one child now . Actually if we are allowed to have more i don't think we can give more kids because it's too expensive and tiring to raise a baby in our county . For our people if you have a daughter and a son that's the perfect family.

Me and my husband and I are actually trying for kids each month. Just went to the OBGYN and Got the okay from her to continue trying:) We want three or four at most. We also want about the same age differences like your sister did. About three years apart :) We hope to get luck for a girl first.
