i just thought about this. when you run on empty stomach your body will use the reserved energy in your body which are the fats. do you really lose fat if you are running on empty stomach than with something in it?

I think i heard from one of the doctor friend that running with the empty stomach actually not good for your health. You should eat something, but not too much or too food, just a little, enough to keep you start and will not feel hungry. That way, when you get done with the running, you will not feel starving. When you feel starving, you will eat a lot, that will ruin the whole effect. So, i think running on empty stomach did not burn more fat.

Yeah, I find that if I run in the mornings even with just a tiny bit of food, I will be incredibly hungry when I'm done. In the evening though, I don't have much of a problem. I can wait quite awhile to eat dinner.

Actually, I've always heard the opposite. If you exercise on an empty stomach it is supposedly bad for you. But don't eat a huge meal before a run or you'll get cramps. Food takes awhile to digest anyway. I usually just eat a banana or something like that an hour or two before a run. That way I have some energy, but I'll still be using energy reserves from earlier. If I want energy back after the run, then I can eat some more after. But I've always heard it ruins your metabolism to exercise while starving. I don't know about that, but for me it is too difficult to exercise when I have no energy to do so.

I don't run but do exercise every morning. I find it to be true too... Your bodies metabolism starts . Your breakfast burns off also, because you have jump started your metabolism.

Running with empty stomach doesn't have any benefit. when you have empty stomach your brain works so, to burn as least calories as it can. So when you want to get rid of fat, what brain does is that it doesn't burn that fat. Running in the morning has a benefit, when you wake up you have very little amount of carbohydrates in your body and so when you run, the first thing you burn is your fat, but again don't run with your empty stomach, instead eat some protein source food, not carbohydrates to kill your hunger and then go ahead.

I don't believe running with empty stomach will help lose fat more. I also not exercise in morning, but in evenings. I will eat some dinner (not too much for dinners) and running around 1 hour after the dinner. After running, never eat food only drink water. And I think it is OK to lose weight too.

yes it is true. that is the reason why we are supposed to run early in the morning, even it is good to do our exercises in the morning only.if you want to become thin then it is better if you run with an empty stomach.
