I have to say that the month of August is not treating me properly. The month started out with my MS acting up. I finally got my ability to walk back. I still have no feeling in my hands, making typing very difficult.
The hot weather and stress are major factors in the progession of MS. I finally woke up this morning and I was feeling OK and I was walking OK. Then around 2 this afternoon we lost power at the house. It was 104 degree outside and we lost AC, man that sucks. So we went outside to get the breeze and all of the sudden the dog went crazy.
The next thing I know there is literally a swarm of bees flying at me and my family. I got stung 8 times on my arms and on my legs, I grabbed my 12 year old and we ran into the house with my husband following. Unfortunetly, the bees were crawling all over us and still stinging us over and over again.
My daughter was stung 5 times and my husband 4 times. The next thing I remember I was sitting on the bathroom floor and my husband was stripping my cloths off me. I turned into big ball of nothing, I could not move. So now I am half naked laying on the floor in some of the worse pain I have been in in long time and my husband is swatting at bees to keep them away from me.
Needless to say my recovery has been set back and I don't feel like I am ever going to get back to being normal.
So have you ever been attacked by bees like this? I have never seen such aggressive bees in my life, no matter what we did they were coming after us.

I have never been stung by a bee yet. I am lucky I guess. My sister got stung by one years ago when we went to a bible summer camp one year when I was a teenager about 20 years ago. I am sorry about your numbness. I know that is no fun at all being numb from MS. I had blurred vision myself earlier this month that I thought was from MS but it ended up being Chronic Dry Eye in both of my eyes. I just have to take eye drops which is not to bad.

I am glad that your eyes were not the MS and eye drops are doable. :D
I am glad that you have never been stung it really was not pleasant in any way shape or form. I am hoping to see an improvement in the numbness soon. The lack of AC and the attack from the bees I think just set me back a little. This too shall pass.

How do you know the species of a bee? And if they're "Killer Bees"....how is it you're alive? Interesting post....
