Well, here we are in the middle of August. It won’t be much longer and we can turn off the air and open the windows. Fall is right around the corner, in fact I can see it peeking. I love fall…not too hot, not too cold and not too wet. The leaves are turning every color you can imagine and everything is getting ready for winter. I love the breezes, the last bbq’s of the year, the holidays…just everything about it. Some ppl have things they have to do to get ready for winter, we don’t. We live in an apartment so there’s nothing to do. I can hardly wait for summer to be over. Most of the summer I’ve been stuck indoors b/c it’s too hot to be out. At least in the fall I can go out more and get things done.
Are you happy fall is almost here? Is it a good season for you? What do you look forward to in the fall? What do you have to do to get ready for winter?

Here the rain tends to get a bit cooler in autumn... Not that it's here yet. End of September maybe or early October. With any luck we might even get some sun in September..

We won't have fall for at least two more months here in South Texas. Besides, fall means cool weather is coming--I like it hot!

I'm looking forward to cooler temperatures too. But here in Texas that won't be probably until the end of October. I do seem to feel that things are moving on into the fall cause school starts in just a couple of weeks and of course that signals that summer is over. I wish we had move of a colorful fall. We don't get much in the way of foliage colors which is so pretty in more northern climates. But for us, the best thing will be the relief from 100 degree temps.

I'm very much looking forward to fall. This heat is draining me of all my energy. I get more done in the fall. It doesn't snow here so I don't need to make any preparations. Hooray for fall!

I do like autumn, but we've not exactly had much of a summer here in England, it's raining even now. Normally August is warmer and sunnier here, but it's still dotted with rain almost every week. I like autumn too because I like the colours of the leaves and hearing the crunch of them under my feet. :)

I agree dorypanda. Here in Missouri it has been rather rainy as well. The temperatures have been rather nice, even for August. I do like the different colors of the leaves and the scenery is nice in Autumn. But the cold months can hold for a bit longer.

We do not have anything to do to get ready for
winter. I look forward to the leaves changing
color, they can be so beautiful. I look forward
to October, this is my birthday, another year
older, what will the next year bring.
Have a blessed day.

I can't tell you how happy I am that fall is around the corner. I don't really like the summer at all because it's too hot. I welcome any season as long as it's not summer. Pretty soon it'll be winter and it will start snowing. It seems like the days are goin by so fast that I don't even notice anymore how fast they are going. I live in an apartment as well and don't have anything to do to get ready for winter.

Yes I am very happy that fall is almost here, next month close to the end of the month, my fiance and I will be getting married. We have a lot of preparations to be done, though luckily it's just the wedding license, and the food, and of course setting up and rehearsal the day before. This year, fall is a very good season for us, though I'll admit it is a very nice time of year with the leaves and changing and the weather as well, getting cool enough to be outside comfortably, but then with the chill coming soon after it, it's very romantic. Normally in the fall, I just look forward to the season's changing, and the being with family as the ber months come in and thanksgiving, christmas and then new years roll in. This year, of course it's also our wedding I am ecstatic about. As for preparations for the changing seasons, i think it all depends on wear and tear of things as to what we have to do. Right now my fiance live with his parents, though so we don't have to do anything.

I love a beautiful fall day...The freshness of the air that is not too humid to breathe in. The beautiful colours of the trees, the last of the crops being harvested, pumpkins for halloween, thinking of Christmas, planting fall bulbs in the garden...aaaaaahhhhhhhhh...fall is my favourite,...I was also married on a beautiful fall day in October!!
Yes we have things to do to get ready for winter, our wood for the woodstove, yard raked up and bulbs planted, summer things put away. But if it could be fall all year round, that would be great too!

I have to say, fall is my favorite season. Maybe it's just me, but i do not enjoy the blistering summer heat. Fall is a very comfortable season. I'm looking forward to the chillier weather, and I can't wait for winter to come around!

I live in the Arizona high country. For us, summer isn't over until the end of October. My apartment doesn't come with air conditioning, and it is as hot as a griddle. I purchased a window air conditioning unit in order to survive as my list of medications is as long as some redwoods are tall. Because my air conditioner doesn't have much range, I made myself an 'efficiency' in the bedroom where I live. I cook and 'whatever' at night when things are a little less fiery.

Two more months? WE had summer in June... Now it's back to the rainy season - that lasts for 11 months if we're lucky. Did I actually say lucky?

I can't believe that it is already the autumn in your side. As here it is still very hot and it is the hot summer at present. It is very interesting to hear that it is not so hot in your side now. I think we have still wait for a few months so that the autumn will arrive here. And I look forward to the "Mid Autumn Festival" because we can have days off. It is also an important festival here.
I love China

The cycle of life! Don't you change your clothes over in your closet? Or rearrange the kitchen for winter dishes you will be cooking? I am happy Fall is nearly here. About time! Way too hot! I enjoy the Fall and Spring seasons the best. My kids enjoy Halloween and it is getting chilly by then.

It does not feel as if it is anywhere near fall here. It is hot and humid and just plain icky! I will enjoy the cooler days. I start getting rather out of sorts and feeling the blahs though when the time change happens and it gets dark so darn early! I would love to take a trip to the mountains this year to see the leaves turning along the parkway. We really need to get started on our fall garden. I have been after my Fiance to get it tilled up and he is not making much progress! I do agree with the going outside more when the weather gets cooler too.
