Well. it depends.. but if I were in love with girl infact she will be lady of 16 years old.. I would simply say its just attraction.. you should think about your future your children.. because after 15-20 years.. she will not be able to handle home as well as you will able to.. one has to wait for 6-12 months to get marriage specially in such case where everyone is opposing and just you are in favor of marriage..

No I won't marry a girl 16 years older than me. Maybe at the moment we love each other but it won't last long. Having 46 year old woman as wife when I'll be 30 it's not good. She'll feel bad at this time when she sees you young.

As long as both of them are mature adults, age shouldn't matter. If they love and respect each other and want to be together then it shouldn't matter what anyone says. My boyfriend is 11 years younger than I am. My mother-in-law is only 2 years older than I am. Nobody has given us a hard time at all about the age difference. They can see how good we are together and for each other.

Hi vangie, I think many members would say that age doesn't matter, me too. The reason is, there is no rule anywhere that says we have to marry someone who has X years difference ( X = the number of years ). What is the most important is that both parties are mature and ready to take responsibilities as husband and wife, and later mom and dad. Because of the age difference, they've to learn to accept each other's ways of thinking. Younger people - in general - tend to be more open minded while older ones - in general again - tend to be more traditional. There are other things that need to take into consideration. If everything's ok with the couple, then get married.
I've heard of a 60-year-old man marrying a 26-year-old girl, and they have a child. Is the story true? I don't know. If it were true, were they crazy? No. If they're happy, fine.
