Hi myLotters, are you one of those people who can't stop collecting books? Or maybe you have a lot of books... just because?
At my parents' house we have a lot of bookshelves and cases- full of my dad's books, encyclopedias, and atlases, and even my old childhood books. I was spoiled with books as a child. :)
What about you?
Sincerely,
virusxtreme24

there used to be a lot of books in my house. and that was when the digital age haven't arrived yet. i had 5 sets of encyclopedias, lots of medical books, lots of books on the sciences, philosophy, music, films, paintings etc. they are all gone, damaged from moisture and neglect. they were all replaced by mostly pdf files contained in several dvd discs.

Yup, I come from a family of readers; my parents' house have lots of books - my dad's and brother's. My sister's and my house are full of books as well. My sister's husband also love books, so she has a wall with built-in bookshelves for their books, and her 3 kids have shelves for their books. As for me, I have lots of books at home, read and unread, and I'm looking for more space/shelves to place them. My husband unfortunately doesn't share my love of reading.

Yes, I do have a lot of books. I used to collect books to read as a child. I still have them in my home. I sometimes take time to read them but most of them are like only read once by me. lol. Maybe I will give or lend them to my friends to read.

I tend to read very often, but purchasing books is not something I always do. As a child I had every Dr. Suess book I could think of. However, those were mostly passed down to younger people of the family.
I have my school as a great resource to read books. It allows for free literature, and I never am weary of reading, as I am not obligated to continue reading it if it is not something I enjoy.
I only buy books I have been greatly anticipating! :)

I have to admit that I have an addiction for books and reading, which does include collection them, when I think about it. However, it does seem bigger, as I now live with my fiance and we combined both of our collections of books. Reading books and such has been something that I have been doing since I was a kid. So, when I go into a bookstore, I can't help but browse and try to see if there isn't a book that I might be interested in getting. Sometimes it's just difficult to stop myself.

Yes we do have a lot of books. My husband is a bookworm and he loves collecting books. We do have different interests when i comes to books - so it's very seldom that we share a particular book. The ones that were very recent and those that I love to read over and over again and my husband's collection are in our room, while the others are placed in bookcases and boxes in another area of the house where we put things that we no longer use.

I have 3 shelves full, and one small shelf half full. I recently pulled about 1/3 of my books and donated them to the local humane society (they have a thrift store where all the money made goes to the animals there)
Hubby has even more books than me. One room in our house EVERY wall is a floor to ceiling book shelf, and they are all full of books, sometimes 2 or 3 thick on a shelf.
Its funny though, that he has more books than I do, because I read way more than he does!

I have a ton of books, because I can never get rid of anything. I've still got my old childhood books as well, packed up in a box in the basement! And yes, I am one of those people who should not be let loose in a bookstore! I've done pretty good at not collecting books for the past 4 years (college=broke I guess!) but now with a full time job, I am more tempted!

In my bedroom, there are more than two hundred books. The books about the history, and the novels, cartoons and so on. And if I find the interesting book, I will buy it and throw down it in my bed.
Now the arabian nights is my pet.

I don't like reading very much. But i have a lot of books, why? Because i am a student, i have a lot of learning books. Except these learning books, i don't have too many books. While my mum like to read very much, she has a lot of books, most of them are magazines which tell really storys about people. Now i'm trying to read, i like read science fiction. But i don't like to buy books, sometimes i borrow books from library, then i'll choose to download some e-books,like novels or science fiction. I don't like history too much. What about you ? What's kind of books do you like? Have a good day and happy mylot!
