With Midwinter, Yule, Christmas and Xmas fast approaching (depending on who you are and how you choose to celebrate the turning year)are you planning on making any of the gifts that your are going to give? What sorts of things are you planning, and have you started on them yet?
So far I've knitted severalpairs of socks and started making several hampers of spices, jams, preserves etc. Still got soap to make and incense to compound, then I'm almost done!

I am making t-shirts for my sons grandparents with his handprints and feet prints on them. It's his first Christmas so, I think that they will like it.

soap does make a lovely gift. DO you make hot process or cold process soap? I prefer hot process usually.

Kind of. Heres a great idea. For my brother I am taking an ordinary empty paper towel tube and then I'm buying about 15 instant lottery tickets. I am going to wrap the tube in white party streamer paper and hide the tickets randomly insdie. Once done, I'll paint a red strip on it. Thats a "sweet" present thats cheap and fun!

That an interesting idea, but kind of expensive if you are putting 15 tickets at £1 each in. I try not to spend more than about £10 on any one person if at all possible, so making preents is the best way to give them a lot of my time, love and effort and stay within budget. Bet he'll have lots of fun with his tickets though :)

Yes I am! I'm knitting socks for my dad (who is a fiend for hand-knit socks), some felted mittens for my mom, a scarf for my brother's girlfriend - but I haven't decided yet what to make for my brother! I'm sort of running out of time, aren't I? :)
