Hi KMPierce,
Welcome to myLot!
Well I find that weird too, I have never seen someone dip pizza in a (salad) dressing. But then again, who says it's not allowed?.. I like mixing ketchup and hot sauce together and putting the mixture on top of my pizza, I guess I'm normal . Have a great day!

Dipping pizzas in dressings in not very common here in our place. I think the taste of the pizza is already enough and it doesn't need anymore dressings to add to its flavor. I might not enjoy the taste of the pizza itself if I still add the dressing. But I am willing to give it a try, if I find a pizza parlor that offers dressings with their pizzas

It really depends on what the pizza is.
Little Caesar's pizza I dip in their garlic sauce usually. Same with Papa John's. Last night I had Little Caesar's, but my sister forgot the garlic sauce, so I used ranch dressing.
There is a place by where I used to live called Monical's. Just about everybody I know dips their pizza in their french dressing.
I also like to use the cheese sauce from Domino's to dip my pizza in. The "St. Louis Style" pizza I never dip in anything as well as frozen store bought pizza.

Oh, ranch dressing does sound good. I don't dip homemade pizza, but I will dip some kinds of delivered pizza. I really like the garlic sauce that comes with some of the pizza.
