I was on leave for 5 days since last week and today is my first day work after the long rest. With quite a lot of things to do and calls to make, my cellphone all of the sudden went kaput without any indication. What a time for it to went faulty. With all the important numbers kept it it, eventhough some were kept in the memory card... i desperately need it to be up again. Can live without my cellphone now, with all my schedule set in it. Can u live without your cellphone?

Hi rj4pau. First of all I am sorry to hear about your cell phone. I hope that your cell phone gets repaired and working soon. I can't image living without a cell phone even for one hour's time. There is so much of personal and financial data that is stored in the cell phone that I would need it every time. I am very bad at remembering phone numbers and need my cell phone to contact people always. Also, I use my cell phone for web browsing at times to check emails . Just can't imagine myself being without it. Once again I hope and pray your cell phone is repaired soon. Take care :)

Tq Zaneclan. Yeah I use my cellphone for many things like you. Keeping schedule, numbers, web browsing etc... so to live without it for an hour is like holding breath for 10 minutes!..hehehe.. Definitely will get it repaired a.s.a.p

I had my Nokia phone damaged last year. Actually My GF took it and threw it as we had a tiff. It was my N95 8GB , just 2 months old. And I am quite possessive about my cell phones. She had thrown it and the sliding screen completely broke apart from the main body. I took it immediately to the authorized nokia service centre and luckily I got it repaired immediately. I made up a story that I have to leave town and need the cell phone repaired ASAP. Had to pay $125 for getting it repaired. However since it got repaired the GPS never catches the signal in the indoors which it used to earlier.

well when im in the college, i am like you. Making the cell phones like some kind of amulet, if i dont bring it, i;ll be doom. But now, i am forced to be with my phones. I Hate when it is ringing. Because most of the phone, is about job, even in holiday, and it so disturbing my life. Now, i never play with my phones again. It loose its charm now. I Hope cell phone was never created ( well im in bad mood, so this is what comes in mind, maybe if my mood change my writing will be changing too ) ok thats it from me

I most certainly can. First of all, I got a real cheap one, and it is so basic that after a day or two I couldn't even store any telephone numbers, which is just fine with me, that way I can't lose them either LOL. I had a pretty fancy one, but some day the service provider told all its clients that they had to change their phone for some technical reason. It really got me mad, and living where I live, it just might happen again, That's why I got the cheapest one, I consider it like a disposable gadget. I keep the telephone numbers in a separate file on my computer, and since I'm not using the phone a lot anyways, that´s all I need. Hope you can find a way to fix your problem.

U got the point there Pillusch. For a mere communication, one can just have a basic one but sometimes these simple & basic disposable gadget can be more reliable than the expensive ones!! :-)

No, I can't live without my cell phone, as it is the only phone I have, since I don't have a land line. If anything were to happen to mine, theb my family couldn't keep in contact with me, and that is so important that tney do, espcially my kids, as my daughter and I, text everyday. My son will call me on the phone so he knows I am okay, since I live alone, as I am divorced. I just hope my phonenever goes kaput, but it is a new one, so it won't for a long time. Take care, and happy mylotting.

Hope yours wont went kaput like mine. By the way, I managed to get mine working back to normal. Just a mere technical hiccup. But as precaution, I kept a copy of my contact numbers in my pc for emergency.

temporarily, yes, when i'm out of town purely to relax and dont think of anything else other than enjoying my time. but only for few days. the way we live nowadays, cellphone is a must. it helps me with my other dealings and keeps me updated with the happenings around me especially about my family and friends. :)

I think that is the reason why cellphones nowadays can be sync to the computers so that even if your phone is lost or suddenly doesn't work, you still have a backup of all your contacts. Unfortunately, I do not have one of those high tech phones, I do not have the budget for those yet. I will buy one as soon as I can afford it because important numbers are a lot more harder to retrieve.

I'm sorry when I heard this new. But you are luckier than my father.my father had lost cellphone. At that time, my father's cellphone has so much telephone number and full timetable. My father lost it and he didn't know where he lost his cellphone. At that time, my father went to everybody to take new telephone number as a beginner very hard. There are people who live in foreign. Who can give it again? I had a time lost my cellphone. But at that time I had just use cellphone. I didn't have any telephone number and timetable as you had

I bet its very hard. Especially for those whose lives are made simpler by the use of cellphones or for people have a lot of interaction in terms of work related contacts. i once had a problem with my mobile phone which turned out be nightmare. Without having a call from the cab, getting to work, almost no updates form anyone if you miss anything in the day of work. Will feel like lost in a lonely island
