my four year old just recently started going to school all day. this leaves me at home. my husband and i have discussed it and we are still not ready for me to get an acctual job outside of the house. which is ok with me but i'm still bored here at the house by myself all day. i have all my house work done usually by 9 am or earlier. so that leaves until 3 o clock when i have to get my son from the bus. so any suggestions of what to do all day? i feel like i'm going to waste away in internet land! lol.

learning is a time taking process and patience has its own virtues. you will definitely get a hold on it. for a start avoid investing in any online schemes. that would be safer. there are many free to join options which i am sure you will come across in due course of time....good luck again.

Hi, I think you can go to mall-window shopping.
Because shopping can use out your time rapidly..
Hope this suggestion can benefits you.

i'm afraid that shopping would just result in spending money that i don't have... lol. plus i don't find it to be any fun if i'm just byself. thanks for the suggestion though! i suppose it would take a good chunk out of my time.

Hello Pchickk1
Although you said your husband wasn't ready for you to get an outside job the thing is your still bored around the house you can only do so much housework like you said its all done by 9am.
You can get online and MYLOT but that only lasts for so long besides you should step back and get a break from it from time to time so you don't get bored with it as well...... and it can happen I believe almost anything you do over and over for several hours days on end can get routine and you can find yourself in a rut.
Go for a walk, exercise ,garden ect.. those a few things to do around the house you don't really want to watch tv all day after being on the computer you'll find yourself being a couch potatoe
and you don't want that either LOL
Why not get a part time job that you can do while the kids are at school and be home before in time to pick them up or meet them at the bustop? What could it possibly hurt?
You would be proactive in getting out and about and socializing with people outside the home or you could go and volunteer your services to the local senior centers or the local schools ect.. household and you will have a diversion of the everyday routine.
I thought I saw you mention that mall or window shopping is out you don't want to be tempted to spend money you don't have but you can make your own money and buy yourself a couple of things here and there and still contribute to the household finances
When a person has to much free time on their hands it can get old real quick I can relate to that been there done that I had to get a part time job several years ago just to have something else to do after the kids were old enough to go to school It started off as a part time job when my daughter was 9 months old I worked a few hours in the evening while my husband stayed home with the kids he worked in the mornings so it worked out great
Now what started off as just something to do turned into a 17 years of partime then full time now back to part time employment
Think it over work partime volunteer or work online (or do all 3) LOL

maybe you could look into some volunteer work..or just plan your day..clean house, run errands, exercise, plan out or prepare dinner, have lunch, take a small nap, take up a hobby, before you know it...its 3'oclock!! Maybe you could get into selling things on the side or some time of part time work.
