My favorite is the pure Dinorado that we buy from farmers in the province and have it brought here in Manila. the commercialized Dinorado in the supermarket is not as good. I also love the 'organic' brown rice. we call that 'inipot ibon' in Southern Quezon Province but in some posh restaurant in Manila, i think it's coined as black rice or something like that. My third favorite would have to be the Sagada rice. I forgot what its called but it has big stuffed grains and they plant them for personal consumption so it goes through that simple traditional milling. Ive tried it during one of my trips there.

one of the best quality rice here in India is of course the basmati rice but good quality basmati is really very expensive and cannot be consumed by the general people on a daily basis. We eat white rice, boiled and strained. This is our staple dish. We accompany it with pulses, vegetable curry and fish, eggs or meat.

in india it differs i mean that in different regions of india people would like different kinds of rice. like i am in south of india and we usually like to have plain non smelling rice for daily consumption i.e sona mussouri rice and we would occationally or for any special occasions we prepare good smelling rice but here in south also there are people in the coastal regions who would prefer to eat parboiled rice or the other boiled rice. in north of india people geneally like basmati rice for the daily consumption and in this way each people have their own different taste and eat different kinds of rice.

Its my first time to heard about Ganador, we use Saint Joseph Maharlika. Sometimes, we mixed fancy rice into it to make it more appetizing.
