i find it hard to lose weight nowadays, specially that i just don't have much work to do at home. and i feel that getting back to my old weight seems an impossible task already. but i am not losing hope. i will try my best to stay healthy and get back to my ideal weight cause it feels good to be healthy and also in right shape.
When i was younger, no matter how much i eat will not make me fat. as i am getting older getting fat is so easy and getting fit is so hard now. like even how little i eat i just still don't lose weight that easily.

My weight is always on my mind. I can lose it by walking and drinking tons of water. The problem is after a few months it all comes back. I have not discovered anything that has worked to keep it off for good. If I keep walking everyday for a year maybe it would stay off, but I don't think I have that much stamina. I need to shed 45 pounds and it seems like a monumental task right now.

hope you lose those weight. i have difficulty losing this 20 pounds too. i don't want to lose more than than or i will be underweight. with extra 20 pounds my stomach is already swelling. like most of the fats went there.

that is true. it is hard to lose it and maintain it that way. i am trying to cut back on foods right now. quite hard though but i can still manage. i am hoping to lose at least 15 lbs within a month. hopefully i can do it.

My weight is around my mid-section too. I think that losing weight, and keeping it off, is one of the hardest things to do in life. I am determined to reach my goal weight. With winter knocking on the door, it might be a little uncomfortable for me to go walking every day, but I am going to give it my best try.

I did the weight watchers point system and lost 30 pounds now. It took about 6-7 month but it was pretty easy. I could have lost more but I cheated on the weekends.

what is that point system you mentioned. is it something we can find on the net. i think 7 months quite long. what is the safe amount of weight to lose each week as i have learned before that we should not lose too much in just a week and it will be bad for health to lose them that fast.

I'm sure you can find it on line.
I average about 1 to 2 pounds a week. That was good enough for me.

that was a lot of weight to lose each week. hmmm. i would like to lose weight as much as that each weight. i will try this week.

Hi hotsummer! I think that losing weight might be one of the hardest things to do for everyone but some people especially. I think the best thing you can do is to not be too hard on yourself and to take one day at a time - good luck!

i am trying to be patient. i only started to lose weight again just yesterday or two days back i think. i am trying to take this seriously now than before. i just don't know if i will be able to lose weight as i plan. but i do hope so.

it's not easy for me to lose weight, until now i am trying hard to lose weight, but it seems that it doesn't work. i tried on going to the gym but it made me tired and that's why i had stopped.

me too. i don't like doing exercise. but lately i am able to cut back on food. i hope that i don't gain any more weight and also lose even some few weights and fats. i am actually in a hurry to lose weight but it seems to lose 4 pounds in a week. i will be happy to lose a pound a week at least. but that is quite hard too it seems.

I too need to lose some weight. I started that process first of the year. I did lose 24 pounds in about two months. What I did was like one of the responses was, I stayed away from all white food. I ate lots of chicken and salads. I replaced my white food with other vegetables. I also drink lots of water. I tried to dring a gallon of water a day. I need to get back on that diet thing. I havent gained any back but haven't lost any more. But of course Im eating all the wrong stuff now... Oh yeah something else stay away from grapes. They are loaded with sugar.

i think i will stick with chicken also now. i will avoid all whites too. hope i will be sucessful cause i really want to lose weight .

I think you can and will be able to lose the weight that you want. The mind has a lot to do with that too. If you tell yourself that you can then I know that you will. I need to do what I preach too..LOL..Have a great week and I wish you only the best..

I find it hard to lose weight too but I need to because my girlfriend would be very mad at me if the jacket she bought for me wouldn't fit

Actually, I only have these belly problem. The rest of my body is seemingly fit. This is what I get from eating rice more often

you are lucky that only your belly get fat. i am fat in all places of my body. ha ha. but mostly on my stomach. but thankfully not yet on my arms. but my hips are fat already and my stomach.

im assuming your a woman, if you are 5 pounds to you seems like a 100 , i lost 83 pounds 2 years ago and kept it off, i walk in the morning when its cool, eat my biggest meal at mid day and a salad at night. i dont eat any starches especially rice, and potatoes, now i know the rice thing is gonna be hard because i love pink rice but limit yourself and dont eat after 6 pm. if you like fruit eat the fruit but limit oranges their packed with sugar. dont eat anything the color white for a month and see what happens, no sugar no milk no rice no potatoes, you can have sweet potatoes but dont pack a bunch of butter on it, and no bread none , for a month.drink lots of water. and if you eat salads dont cover the top with lots of dressing thats like ordering 2 big macs and a diet coke

wow. that was great tip. i will do those things you mentioned. i love eating rice and potatoes, though i don't eat meat any more. i guess it is not enough to avoid meats and i should avoid those white food as you said. i think i can limit my rice and potato so i can lose weight. it will not be a big problem. but i need to find some substitute for it. is oat meal fattening as it is white also. i will try to have salad at night only.

i really had a hard time loosing weight,it's not easy, i gain weight easily. this time i just control what i eat and i just make myself busy by biking every afternoon around the village.

Yes,it is easy.I don't know if the as follow can help you.You can try.
First:always eating breakfast.
Second:having five or six small meals instead of "three squares" a day.
Third;exercing.
Forth:getting enough calories.
Hope you hold on, never say "give up".
