I don't really know what God meant to me at the moment. I just don't believe its existence. I don't know, and I just couldn't accept it right now. I rather depends on myself and my ability rather than something I COULDN'T grasp, or see.

I have known, loved and served the creator God, my heavenly Father, through the Lord Jesus Christ, for 51 of my 73 years. In that time, He has been my constant Companion, my Strength and Enabler, my Provider and Sustainer, my Teacher and Guide, my Challenger and Encourager - my EVERYTHING! I delight to spend time with Him, talking with Him in prayer and learning more from Him through His Word. I thoroughly enjoy my life here on earth, but I look forward to the time when I will be called home to spend eternity with Him.

Beautiful response cloudwatcher. Without God and Jesus Christ in my life, I don't think I would still be alive. My faith in my heavenly Father keeps me going through both the good and bad times in my life.

God is ONE, the only one. He is the creator of everything and everything belongs to him He Sustain the universes and all that exists. He is Self sufficient, Eternal, Absolute. None comparable unto him, Nothing like him, he is not like anything, He is not a creation. Ever living, All Powerful, All Seeing All Hearing, ... He is the creator of human kind and all that exists, So he is the one decided what humankind is for. For that He have given guidance to mankind to live in the world. Worship and thank God who provided us the living means, the air, water and all and worship him alone and accept his instructions in this short life period. So.. Glory is to be God! God is more than anything, than Mother, than father, than partner, than Prophets. May Almighty God guide us to the right path. Peace.

A god is a supernatural being that is more powerful than a person in at least one way. God is a god who many think is omnipotent, omniscient, omnibenevolent, despite the inherent contradictions. The tradition of worship of him hearkens back to polytheists in the fertile crescent. Despite there being other gods, or the concept of other gods, he is called by the name God, in the way that Jeff Lebowski went by the name Dude, even though there are other dudes. The way the question was asked, it seems to be inferring that monotheism is the way that everyone views gods.

Hi,pau,In my view God is only trust, belief. If that blind belief is not there there will be chance of occurring most unwanted and things against society rules which our elders frame.Like that many innocent and weak/light hearted people blindly depend on God that god will solve our problems.Jesus, lord krishna,Buddha,Lord Rama....All help psychologically to human beings to lead life in right path.God bless you and happy mylotting.

I do not believe in God. Strange considering I come from a very religious Catholic family. In my personal opinion, God is something that people made up for a. mind control by the church and other religious officials; b. means of explanation for something they do not understand- as in thousands of years ago, science wasn't so advanced as to the composition and origins of a matter cannot be determined; and c. an insurance policy for people who cannot or will not accept that this world is all we have.

i respect with your point of view, but what if there was really is God? what will you do?..is theres too much too loose for you if you just believe?nothing right?....i believe that our mind is limited in understanding everything because we are only a creation, we cannot understand everything...but we can believe!theres nothing to loose if you tried...but if pride in each everyone goes on, we will face tha consequences with our creator?

I would have to say that it means the same to me. God makes all things beautiful. That means this broken world too. He is love, peace, joy, and hope, and He desires to give us all those things, and be all those things in our life. To me, its beauty in a broken world. Its safety in a horrible storm. Its love in lonely times. Its joy in sorrow. He's everything.

hi there paula! for me, God means strength, hope, love, joy and success. i think about God as the ultimate source of everything and the ultimate one whom we ca always count on. no matter what i do, may they be good things or not, i always tell God because i also see him as my bestfriend. he is the bestfriend that will not gossip about you when you tell him things, he is the bestfriend who will not get jealous of the wonderful things that are happening in your life and he is the bestfriend who will always be available to listen and share with you the oohs and ahhs of your life. god is my confidant and my strength when i feel that everybody has gone and no one is there for me.

Well, I will start by saying that I am completely against organized religion. It is my feelings that these institutions promote hate. After all, more people have been killed in the name of God than any other purpose. The ideas of "love, peace, and hope in a better world" are great things to talk about. However if that's what your god wanted, that is how it would be and He would not wait on his followers to convince (or Force) the entire world to agree with them before it was accomplished. As long as Catholics, Muslims, Buddhists, and other religions believe in a different invisible man/woman, there will never be peace. Also I don't think that any one religion has one more inch of ground to stand on than any other. These is no more evidence promoting the story of Jesus than there is promoting the story of any other Deity. I always ask religious people if they believe that their god can do anything. Of course they jump out with a quick "Yes." I then ask "Can he make a rock so big that he cannot pick it up?" Think about it :o)!!!!

hello paulaoliver, in response to your topic, i see God as a being who had powerful spirit, soul and might as well as intelligence, and has great emotions than us, humans. He is more like above all things. He destroys and creates the world and He makes color and darkness and light to it. He is somewhat on top of every top beings all in all. :)

He sacrifies it to save us. He Gave us chance to go to his plaCe. In the heaven. I am glad and happy that i know GoD. He is in my life now. He gave me strenght and power to pass many problems in my study, strugGles, and trials in every day life. I hope that everyone of us will know GOD as there savior. Who sacrifes his life to save us. A passage in the bible goes by this way... "what you have done to the list of your brethren, you have done it to me" - it means that God is in us (heart) and can be found everywhere (others) ... as long as you have faith and love... god is always with you... ^_^

hi paulaoliver, I think its belief. There is a force above humans which decides something for us. If our mind feels some thing difficult or un-comfortable, we are praying to god. Because he can cure our problems. If we get success, we are thanking god. I think its god play to response message you. I have trust in god. May god bless you all.

i'd rather answer Who is God.....As a true Christian, GOD is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, all knowing, and powerful God. He's name is Jesus. The beginning and the end, the one who owns everything even the air you breath was from Him. Since i become a true christian i never find myself alone, because He was always there especially during the storms in my life. He is the creator of the universe. God is love. a perfect Love, a love that so pure. His love is complete. he will love and care you like as his son, daughter, friend, mother, father, a loving spouse. When you're left by those persons you love, He is there to comfort you. He is there to ease the pain, provided you are welcoming Him to enter your heart. He is the great provider, He knows your needs, He will give His grace according to His will. He is the great physician. In Him, nothing is impossible. He can cure even the incurable diseases. We have a lot of living testimony about God's Miraculous works. (please visit)www.jmcim.org. He is our loving savior and redeemer. Without God in you life, everything is a mess. For He is the only one who can give us peace and satisfaction.
