Have you ever changed your myLot avatar?

Hi MarkMoney, I saw in your profile that you are a member of mylot for about three years. Hmmm, what happen anyway? Did you leave mylot for a while? Anyway I would like to change my avatar a couple of days ago but I got a little lazy doing it, so I stick what I have for now. Maybe next month or next year?! Happy mylotting!

I would love to change my avtar. I didnt know one can change the avtar. I wasnt given much option to choose from whenI createdmy account with mylot. Only recently I saw a fellow mylotter change his avtar and then I realised that one can actually change it. I still dont know how to go about it. But i prefer to change it after a while say after I cross a thousand responses may be...

I also have never changed my avatar since joining this site. I just feel that it has already become a part of my online identity here. I dont mind changing it since there was a time when I did consider it a lot. But I decided not to because like I said its my 'face' on myLot. Some touchups and seasonal improvements would be welcome but Im good with my old and original avatar. Yeah, there has been some trend to the avatars these days. I call it the "SmiLey Era" on myLot. Most people opted to have a smiley as their avatars instead of their old ones. These people also change their avatars as to what mood they're in or what they're doing at present so it kinda still is their online identity at present time. You only have to look at their smiley avatars and you'd know what they were up to. Its all fun and great, amusing at times but I prefer to keep my old avatar. Watching others change theirs keeps me entertained and curious.

I have only changed mine once because my original one was a picture from my blog of a Buddha sitting under the Bodhi Tree but it led to a lot of people asking me whether I am a Buddhist which I’m not although I have an interest in the faith and I liked that particular picture. I changed it to a cat because I am a cat lover from way back and it took my image away from religion.

i have changed my avtaar few days back. Whenever i found any of my good snap in good pose, i try to change my avtaar. I cannot change my avtaar all the time because have to use net in cafe or from friends house.So all the time it is not possible to change avtaar. In mylot i always use my real avtaar. Yes i like cartoon or good icture.My recent picture i like most that is why when it was in my mail , i changed it. What do you think about my new avtaar. After returnig sucha long time, it is obvious you would find lots of changes in mylot. have a nice time. Cheers Ranvir

Hi markmoney Nice to see you back in Mylot family as we all missed you a lot really. As far as my avatar is concerned, I never changed it and no intentions of changing it as i like my avatar most. it is cute as well. The reason for others changing their avatar may be because, they liked their new avatar more than the existing one.

I got tired, of my hot peppers .So I used a expression of myself ! I love to belly dance and vintage dresses.So I felt the change appropriate . I am pretty sure everyone still knows its me. Some change it a lot making it hard to see who they really are.I think I will stick with this one. How about you ? Have you thought about changing? Ah heck give it a try!!!

The avatar to me is only a representative icon that a human exist. I have used the same avatar since I joined mylot though in the process, I have "upgraded" the avatar from a static to a dynamic one, just for some "life".

I changed mine while you were away My other one was used by someone else and it didn't feel right after that so I found one that was very similar, same situation and reflects me just as well as the other one did.

An avatar is our recognition in myLot. Many people recognize us by the pic & not by the name alone. So a constant avatar always helps to get recognition. Happy Lotting

Hi Markmoney, I changed my avatar 3 times (if I remember it right) since my joining here. First was a picture of my son with bubbles around. Then I saw a cute little girl cartoon style, but I used it only for 1 day, found I didn't like it, so I switched back to the old one. When September came I decided I should go with the festive mood, we all know in the Philippines Christmas starts with the "ber" months. So I am now using my son's picture clad in Santa Claus' outfit.

I often change my avatar,for whatever reason,...uhmnn...i just like it. I like changing my avatar every now and then,if i may not mistaken,i often change my avatar almost once a month ...

I have change my avatar for three times. The avatar the I am using now represents my what I am in and out. It is very simple and I think only the person who knows me deeply can tell while I am using this kind of avatar now. If I'm gonna have a business someday I will make a logo the same with my avatar.

I believe I've been a member now for about three years and not only have I not changed my avatar, it may be the only photo I have. I might just go to that other site with "my" in it and throw some on my profile.

I change mine maybe...once a year on here. More often on forums. Less often on my favorite blog site, xanga, because people do tend to recognize me by my avatars there. It depends what works for you, I think. This is just what works for me.

No I don't believe that I have. I know that I changed it from the default picture that you start off with to the picture I currently have now. Now that I saw this post though maybe it's time for a change.

hi friend, for past one week only i am using this mylot.. i wont change any avatars till now

I still don't have a avatar but if I had one I would be changing it once every 2 weeks because I would get bored of my picture being display everywhere. So I stick with the one that mylot has gave me it is that bad, but I haven't saw a lot of people changing their avatars, maybe because I am new and getting use to know everyone avatars.
