cooking has always been attributed to women and the kitchen has always been a place that women can call their territory. but it's really nice to hear that there are men who really know how to cook and do this out of love for the people who matter to them. there are husbands who cook for their families and even boyfriends who invite their girlfriends for dinner in his own home while he does the cooking. i really find men who cook attractive and hot because they seem so awkward looking wearing an apron and all but they are gorgeous and perfect just the same. i hope all men can really cook because like in men, the best way to a woman's heart is through her stomach too. lol. ^^

I do love a man who cooks! Unfortunately my dear husband is not one of them. Just to give you an example, he cooked a frozen pizza once and fell asleep while it was in the oven and nearly started a fire. That is about his level of cooking. I have a good friend back in England who is an amazing cook. He is vegetarian, and he became one at a time when, if you asked for veggie food you'd just get a main course with the meat taken out, or a salad or something! So basically he learned to cook so he could have decent food! He now makes stuff that makes me want to turn veggie, its so good.

Men who can cook, it does impress me. I spend time watching this male cooks on tv. Bobby Flay, Jamie Oliver to name two of my favorites. My husband does know how to cook a few but not as good as this chef, but it still impresses me. I am happy that he can toss a few recipe, specially pasta. He is sometimes shy to cook for Ican say that I am a goodcook but I am very happy if he does.

My new boyfriend made me and my children supper last night. He made stuffed rigatoni and it was very good. This is the first time in a really long time that a man has cooked for me. My ex never cooked for me and when I did cook, he insulted my food. So it was wonderful to share this experience with my new relationship. I do think it is really hot that he could cook and enjoys doing it. I think it made him very happy to see me enjoy his food too. :) We had a great night. hehehe

Hi, ladyella! It is really nice when a man can cook, it not only helps the woman out it can give the man a sense of pride and accomplishment in what he is doing. My husband cooks, as do my sons. It is something i wanted them to learn, and hopefully we will be able to pass it on to our grandsons. It is nice to know that the family recipes can be passed to the males as well as the females.

hello ladyella, i think we are only familiar that women are good cook. not knowing that the chefs in top star hotels either locally or internationally are mostly men. even in restaurants for that matter. this means that they are really good in cooking. and they are artistic too. infact when there are gatherings or any occassions in our home town, our cook are mostly men. women are just their assistance. they can cook whatever dish that you want and it's really tasty. same is true with my wife's cousins. they are always busy when there are parties for they like them to do the cooking. not only that, they are the one who cook in their house. my wife is asking them how to cook a certain dish incase she doesn't know how to do it.

ladyella, Well, just don't be too disappointed if your man turns out knowing nothing about cooking. For I do not think it is common for men to be able to cook or be a good cook. I am sure there are other qualities that will precede his culinary skills and I believe a sense of compassion, humor and devotion may be what you are really looking for. I do not know and would not want to be too fast with agreeing to that saying of yours where you mentioned: ".....the best way to a woman's heart is through her stomach too" because that may be going to affect your precious waistline and a faster way to a slimming center. Have a nice weekend.

oh yes, wish my partner would help ocassionaly. but then you kick him out the kitchen cause he just makes a mess in my view and doesn't clean up. i've said to my work mate a number of times that i've got more chance of him cooking me dinner than my partner. but you look at it and most chief's are men, my cousin is one and had to stop being a vegitearian because of it so he could taste his food.

I love a man who know to cook and deeply appreciate those qualities is very impressive. This kind of behavior added zest to any relationship, because it show he is caring, reliable, thoughtful and very affectionate. It really feel good having to eat in a breakfast, dinner or lunch and knowing this man sweat to cook for you. This is one things he could show truly his love and shares the nice food he have is the same as sharing love because you are the apples of his eyes so he wanna shares the good times with the girl of his dream.

hi ladyella^^;; i really agree with you lol. my bf never knew how to cook even simple dishes. maybe even eggs. but when he spends time here in my country and misses his own country's dishes (which a few of them i can cook though), he was forced to look up the recipe of some over the internet and follow it. i can say he was a good newbie cook it's just funny that he couldn't leave what he's cooking and really carefully watching it every minute lol. he was afraid to ruin it ofcourse. unlike for women that we can do other stuffs while cooking.
