What was the reason? How did you feel about it? If no, what are the reasons which you think may cause you to get fired from your current work? Would you ask for another chance??

I haven't been fired, thanks god. I think I would be really upset if I get fired. I would not ask for another chance, just go and look for another one and try to behave better... The business of our company is very low now. I really worry about that. I am not sure if our company will stop continuing the contract with some of us next year.

That's sad. But I hope it does not happen or else many people would surely lose their jobs. :(

After 1 year, my boss fell in love with me. When he asked me to have an affair with him, I said "NO". and he fired me. I never regret it, because he's married and he is as old as my father.

No I haven't but some tried once when I was a trainee manager I upset some of the management staff at a depot I was working at by saying what a mess they were making of the job. They told head office I was no good and one of the directors had me in his office to sack me. Unfortunately for them they people trying to get me sacked had told the director that the area manager had said I was no good. I had never even met the area manager and I said so. The director told me to wait and I think he went and phoned the guy in another office as when he came back his attitude had changed and he sent to another factory. I did meet that area manager who became a very good friend. I also learned a lot about management such as there are ways and ways to critise people and some ways are better than others

I've never been fired, thankfully, so I can't relate to your question. If in case, I did get fired, I wouldn't ask for another chance. I'd just go find another job.

Hello No I haven't been fired from my job because I don't have it at all . But if I had some I would hate to see me fired. I would try my best to benefit the company. But if I get fired the reason of that would be my approach towards my work or just asking for raise. Otherwise I have confidence that I would work in a way that my boss would never let me resign. Good Luck. Happy mylotting.

I can honestly say I have never been fired from a job. I have left jobs and had internships that ended at a certain time, but never been fired. I do my best to try and avoid getting fired. I wouldn't want to go through it.

Technically, it's not 'fired' but rather the subject I was teaching got dissolved for the summer. So, I am jobless this summer. It's disheartening because I have already started classes for two days. Wished they told me that the subject has possibilities of getting dissolved. But, the bright side of things is that I'll have the same this opening. But I'm just wondering what I'll do for the moment, or for now.

Hello, calai6 I have never been fired from work, thanks God. I think it will be awful for me if that happens. But I have quit my work whit big scandal, because I were dissatisfied. My 'boss' asked me few times to come back to work, but I refused. Now I am working same job, but in another company and I am delighted with pay.. If they fired me from my current work I would not ask for another chance, becouse I know what I can and how I work and I think I am doing my job good... So I just will look for another job.

Yeah. There's really nothing wrong with having some sort of pride. If you are good enough, then for sure you wouldnt have a hard time finding a job for yourself. :D

I haven't been fired from work since I had a job. Because I works for the government. As you know, in China if the person who doesn't make a very serious error won't be fired.

i just got fired nearly one month ago,and i worked in that company only 8 days.is it ridiculous? as an accountant to get that job, after i got in the company, the boss changed his mind,he let me to be a purchaser and also be a chief of finance apartment, actually he let the older accountant still stay here and ask me to teach her somethings.i was very happy to do it,because i can learn some new things, and also i was a chief although in a very small company just four people.he told me he can tell me how to do it,but in that 8 days he had never tought me anything,i just leared by myself and work hard everyday even at the weekends.at last he fired me for no reason.i felt very bad for no reason and i still don't know why.

Well, I was fired from Circle K around 4 yrs. ago due to being robbed and having too much money in my til. I tried to file a complaint on them, but live in a right to work state where you have no real rights with complaints against an employer. I could have Filed Crime Victims comp, and never did, but wish now at times I would have.

Hi calai, I was fired from a job ven had detectives at my house. When the real culprit was found, I had a call from the police, but nothing from the family owned company. It was their best friend, who later was convicted. Nowadays, I wauld sue for wrongful dismissal.

I was fired this past January because they were cutting their budget. I had the job through a temp service with the possibility of permanent hire. They could have had the agency tell me but they were nice enough to tell them themselves and give me a chance to gather all my things and say my goodbyes to all the wonderful people there. You usually don't get that chance with a temporary agency, you're just called after work and told not to go back. Funny enough, they waited till after Christmas so that it would not ruin my holiday. They were so sweet! But my son was visiting and it would have been a favor to be let go before the holiday. Their intentions were good, I wish them all the best and hope the company thrives as it did before this horrible depression. Other than that, I have never been fired in my 55 years of life.

I have been fired a few times in my life. the frist time was during my frist attempt at work. I was working in a fast food restuant. they said I simpley could not do the job fast enough and that was true enough. I was glad and relived that they let me go. I latter found anouther job and was able to stay on there.

I wasn't fired, but my contract wasn't extended after the probation period. They wanted someone with a lot of confidence and I was shy. There was no point in asking for another chance. I never understood why they recruited me in the first place. I even said in the interview that I was relatively shy. Maybe they thought they could change me...
