when did you have your first computer?

Hi, LisaGuo. I got my first computer in 2004. It was six year ago. I was so very happy when I got one. My husband has persuaded me to get one and I did. It is an 15" inch screen, Dell Desktop Dimension 4600.

I got my first computer when I was going to gratuated from university in the year 2002. It is the one of the most memorable things of my collge life, all of my clum company me to choice the computer at the computer town, after i got my computer, I play games and study with my clum together,that was my best time before I got to work. But actually it was late for getting my first computer, because my major is computer since, so I always believe that I should got it more earlier even before I gone to the university, so I always feel that my computer skill is not very good as a computer learner, but I'm good at some computer game.(laughing)

I got my first computer in 2004, it was a gift from my cousion for my birthday. It was a older model of computer that they had for thier dauther. I still had windows 98 om it and the computer had been extensily used. before that I had a word processer but no modem for the internet.

First PC was in 1983 a 2X-PRO (KAYPRO) Dual Flop-pie system with 64K of memory, real speed demon processor was rated at 12Mhz.

I honestly can't recall when I had my first computer. It seems like ages ago and that computers have always been a part of my life.

i don't remember when it happened :(..ummm maybe 2 years ago lol

January 01, 2005. That is the day i bought my first computer. It is a Compaq 1330il which after five years, still standing in my home in a very fine and working condition and it is such a faithful one that in a five year span it gave me not at least one problem.

hi lisa!..yup i'd still remember my first personal computer, who won't forget to have a tv like tube monitor and dot matrix black and white screen and a printer that is so wide it's like paper shreader, LOL!

I got my first Pc from my office and it was in 1995. There were many interesting things in that pc, still i remember. Some funny graphic softwares were there, like harvard graphics. Some banner writting softwares were also there, by which i used to make no smoking notices for my office. Then in 1998, i purchased my own pc by taking a bank loan. Now i have two pc at my home and i have my own laptop also. With time many things change in life. Thank you.

i got my first computer about three years ago,since i major in computer science,computer seems a necessarity then.

i bought my 1st pc on the first salary of my 1st job at a call center. its a pentium 3 unit that have a low memory and hard disk. i upgraded it after transferring to the next company i worked for. now i have an AMD Sempron with 256 memory and two hard drives connected to it.

Well, I had my first and only computer about 6-7 years back. Now I totally addicted to my PC. It is the first thing I touch when I go to home from college. A while back I mainly used it to download & watch anime and to surf on orkut. But now I have switched to be an online gamer.

I still do not have a computer.But my boyfriend will buy one for me, soon.

hi. having a computer is already a necessity especiallly whe you work in the office or in school. i got my PC when i married 6 years ago.my husband provided it to me and i was so thankful.now it's been that long but its hardware parts are alreday know. i need to keep it updated to run and function properly.

I had my first computer when I was 14, and it was a birthday present from my parents. It was a very simple computer, I was able to write a little bit, but most of all I used the computer to play games. My brother and I usually played together and we had a lot of games. I took a long time for the games to load, and it didn't always work, so we were very happy when we were able to play one of the games, and we enjoyed playing together. That was almost 20 years ago. When I was about 16 I got another computer and I mostly used that computer to write, but I also had a few games.

I get the computer since junior high school, it was also because of the desire to know what is the meaning of the computer. At that time, the computer is only used as a 2D game, and nothing like today's picture with a very slow speed is also still use the floppy 3 1/2 inch then it becomes a rare commodity.

until now, if the computer in the sense that I bought myself, I've never had it. The computer that I use a computer today is bought by my parents I just upgraded memory but now I'm saving to buy your own computer, hope I can buy one notebook acer

I have used computers through school, college and through work. So I have used computers for many years, I only bought my own PC about 8 years ago though. I started off with a desktop and loved it, shopping online was my favouite activity. I now have a laptop and prefer the laptop as its much more portable. I now could not live without my computer and the internet!
