what is ur opinion about abortions? Do u support it or not ? Some need to be aborted due to medical reasons. some abort becoz they aren't married yet. some abort becoz children are a hindrance to their career, passion, etc. what is ur opinion. Leave alone the Law.

I sure do support it... You are doing what is right... I'd rather kill a baby then raise it in this world and have the possibility of being killed because of malnourishment not having clothes or money for it etc...

I'm very much Pro-Choice, so I'm all for them. --- --- --- "I certainly think Britney Spears is the devil. The way she projects herself and the fact that she is so obviously vacuous. I think it's such a shame that she became so influential to very small children." -- MORRISSEY --- --- ---

I'm pro choice. But I think that it's a hard decision for anyone and that is should be thought out and educated decision. I don't believe using abortion as birth control is right. I don't think you should get multiple abortions. I also don't think you should get one just because of your career. It should be based on whether or not you can take care of the child financially, physically, and emotionally. I think if there was a pregnancy due to rape or incest then that should be allowed as well.

I believe that abortion is stupid the baby didn't just show up there it takes two and let me tell you the baby aint either one of those two. A baby is a blessing from God and he doesn't ever bless you with something you can't handle. If you can't take care of a child don't kill it there's people out there that can raise your child for you that aren't able to raise on of their own.

well, when one is afraid of going through the term and raising, why should one dare have the pregnancy? Lack of Control?

Fine, someone else can raise it. But who's going to give birth to it. Who's going to carry it for 9 months? I have 5 wonderful childrend and I wouldn't trade any of them for any thing in the world. But I know how hellish pregnancy can be, and that is under the best of circumstances. I can only imagine carrying a child to term, going through labor, then delivery all for something you didn't want to begin with. And I got news for you, When I got knocked up at 17, God had nothing to do with it.

Do you think the emotional pain and trauma of being forced to be pregnant and have a child doesn't count as harming the mother's life?

Has anyone hear about one of the world's smallest premature babies? It just went home from the hospital after being delivered at 22 weeks. It's is 9 1/2 inches long and weighs about .10 ounces. I look at this little miracle and think, how could someone want to kill this person just because they can't see it inside the womb? How could someone call it a "fetus" at this point with it's little fingers and toes? Abortion sounds like a convenience issue to me more than anything, especially when the waiting list for adoption is so incredibly long.

This subject has actually come up on myLot many times before. But you seem new here, so I will give you my opinion. Abortion is murder plain and simple, and there are far too many of them being performed in our country - it is a disgrace.

medical reasons...like f my pregnancy is complicated that will cause birth defect to my child when she/he got born and just make her/his life misarable then may be i'll go for "mercy killing" as early as possible. But 4 abortion that just only ur afraid of the responsibility and ashamed on it, then i will not support it.

abortions on medical reasons should of course not be treated as a cruel thing. there is every reason which supports it. thanx for ur reply.

I don't believe in it!! Babies don't ask to be conceived so if a woman gets pregnant she should have to be responsible for what she has helped to make!

It's not a baby in the first trimester and birth control does fail.

I think that the only way an abortion needs to be done is medical reasons only. If you spread your legs and get pregnant, then you should have to have that child. People make stupid decisions.

Why would stupidity make for a good parenting characteristic? Why aren't children entitled to being born into loving homes of parents who wanted & cherished them?

"you should have to have that child" Not going to happen. I'm not ruining my life and my waistline for a child I'll never love or want. It's my life. I'll do what I want with it. If you don't like abortions, the plan is simple: NEVER get one. But leave the choice to have one up to everyone else to decide. We all have free will.

But there is nothing governing sensitive issues here. As long as we're all respectful of one another, we should be able to voice our opinions and listen to those of others. I may not agree with some of them, but I appreciate listening to them.

I believe that every woman has the right to choose whether or not she carries a baby to term. I believe that it is completely fine to abort a foetus if that is what the potential mother wants to happen. I do, however, believe that it should be the woman's decision, as it is she who will have to deal with the consequences. I understand that men should have a choice in the matter, but ultimately, I believe it should be up to the woman.

what u said is of course right in one angle. but cant the woman choose not to get pregnant instead of putting out a child's breath?

i am not anti abortion. imagine raising up a kid you bore when you are only 15. what about you? what about your life? the woman has the right to choose.

Forget raising it. What about birthing it? Women have considered labor and childbirth akin to torture. Imagine going through torture for something you don't care about.

This sounds like you're just being "inconvenienced" by an unexpected pregnancy, so the option is to kill the child and forget about it. Why not give the child to someone who has been waiting for years to adopt because they have a great home and a lot of love but are struggling with infertility?

well i believe in a womans right to choose. but at the same time i am pro life. but i wouldnt want to see woman trying to raise kids that they feel anomosity towards because of say rape, or something, but on the flip side, every child deserves a fighting chance.

on my personal point of view, i dont like the idea of abortion. every child has a right to be born and see the beauty of the world so why deprive them, besides its not their choice to choose their parents, its our fault we made them so lets not worsen it by aborting them.

Apart from medical reasons i dont think abortion should be practiced... I think one should concentrate more on controlling other factors which we can control instead of killing an innocent life for our miserable actions,,, again ... if the family is pathetically poor to raise there kids they should donate there kids to someone who can take a better care of those kids ... i do not support abortions in any other conditions @!@

I firmly believe that a woman should have the right to choose but then I also believe that if a woman is old enough to have that right then she is also old enough to have thought about birth control and should have had the common sense to use it if she did not want children.

I will be diplomatic, and i'm being honest too. I'm neither for nor against it. It depends on the situation. Sometimes, in the flush of teenage, guys and gals commit mistake. In such moments, i'm for it. If they are matured, know about it very well and intentionally take risk or just not being serious and get pregnant, then i'm against it. They have to pay fine for their mistakes when they have done it being aware that it would lead to pregnancy.
