Yeah i think 50 is to old, You wouldnt be able to give the child all the attention that you would be able to when your younger and you would restricted with what you can do, As in alot of older parents find it hard to keep up with an active child i am 24 and even i find it hard to keep up with my 4 year old sometimes lol!

LOL. I strongly agree with you and what your saying. I'm 50 and I have a hard time keeping up with my two grandchildren and I don't even have them all the time LOL. Thank you for your comment :D

I'm 50 and there is no way I could handle it. Physically I could but mentally, no!!! LOL. I have a cousin that had both of her children in her 40's however and she is doing great. I guess it's just different for everyone. Personally I'm glad I had mine young. My daughter had her's young as well, so I'm getting to enjoy my grandchildren who are the same age as my cousin's children and my cousin is my age!

I personally dont think women should have babies past the age of 40, and to me thats pushing it. Thats just my opinion though. I think once you hit that age, the risks to you and the baby are higher. Another thing is, think about how old the mother would be when the child is graduating from high school.

I think anything over 45 is too late to have a baby. But I guess it all depends on the person.

hmm, good question. Let us ponder. *ponders for a moment*
Obviously you're never too old to have a baby....you just shouldn't! I think 40 would actually be the limit for me....and that's pushing it. I just wouldn't want my kids to be that much younger than me..ya' know I don't want to die when they're in high school or something. You know what I mean? I sound mean....I'm not I swear!

No you do not sound mean at all. I wouldn't want my kids that much younger than me either. I would like to see them have kids of their own. Thank you for your comment :D

Menopause starts among women around about the age 50 so if you are going to have babies at that time, I think it may lead to many complications. I think you need to consult the doctor about this.

i would say 35 would be the maximum based on my parent's experience. my dad was 40 when i was born and now i am 29 and he is 69. now, he is too old and weak to enjoy his future grandchild. also its unfair for the kids to have a generational gap that is too big in between them. there'll be much mis-understandings in all aspects and a source of strain in the parents and child's relationship. that's how i feel anyway.... ;)
