Yes you heard my right, I want to look more mature. I have a baby face and because of that every one asks me "what class are you?", it drives me mad I can`t find a job because of that, because people think that I`m still a child and that I`m unreliable, oh I forgot to say, I`m 24 yers old. So please if you have some suggestions for me pls share.

You're female right? It would have helped if you specified this. But anyways if your female maybe wear make up that defines your eyes and lips more. Dress conservatively and professionally..
Maybe you should try something different with your hair .. as people with darker hair seem to look older. It's appalling that they are being prejudice to your age as they are not supposed to discriminate against age, race, disabled or not etc

Oh I know exactly how you feel. I am 20 years old but I am constantly mistaked for as young as 13. And yes it does get incredibly frustrating! I feel like no one takes me seriously. I'm sure you hear how lucky you are to look so young and I hear that all the time too. But while eventually I will probably be grateful for my young looks, right now it is just incredibly aggravating.
My suggestion would just to be dress older. I try and wear the classier looking clothes and my heels. That usually makes me look much older. Although even then people think I am still in Highschool.
There's really not much that can be done about it. Just dress your age, and maybe look for a hairstyle that makes you look older too.
As for me I add on the heels because I am also incredibly small (I'm 4'10) so for me height is a big issue too.
Anyways I hope my suggestions help :)

Yes! some people do have that problem.Everybody wants to look young but yes when it comes to life it is really incredible.I think having a proper diet like more fat- intake and the right outfit plus the proper hair style will solve your problem. Most of the people look young when they have open hair while they tend to look mature if they tie their hair properly with varying hairstyles. Also one looks mature in jeans and loose T-shirts rather than skirt blouse or parallels.I think it will work just try this!!!You need to care for your behavior also, you should be little bit serious and try to pose smart.

From where i stand, i think you are a lucky girl because you looks younger than it should be. And i think you would look more mature if you were business attire. You can try it if it is possible. Wish you can get it. Good luck!

Before I go ahead, let me just say that you are very lucky because you look younger than your age. There are some people who is dying to go to their doctor just to make them younger. I can relate to you because I am also 24 years old and they are telling me that I look like 19 years old. There are part of my mind that i am flattered, but there are some part of my mind that I am thinking that maybe i act like a child. The reason i look younger is i don't drink and smoke. more about myself, with your concern, maybe it is the way you dress. Try to look for a dress that is actually for 24 years old lady.you can also apply some make up into your face.Sometimes,in the way you walk.Actually, i don't know much about this since I am a guy.

LoL, you are every women dream actually. As you see, the fact is many people want to looks younger than what they are right now. You should be thankful if you look younger. But from what I get here, maybe it's not "looks younger" things that cause your problem but more "looks childish" things. Have you tried to change your suite and a little make up for yourself? I know many friends who still 19 years old but they do look like a twentiish ladies (well, some of them really have an oldies face actually :p). What can I suggest you here is, just try to wear something more mature. Maybe a blazer, a long working pants, try to cut your hair, and use some make up. That's just maybe. I hope this can help. Hope the best for you.
Cheers,
Wienzzz

The best thing to do is try to change your look by maybe changing your hairstyle or even the color would really have a huge difference. Another would be the clothes that you wear. Sometimes people base it on what you wear so be sure to make it a little more decent. Like add a little embelishment on to your outfit to make you look a little more older.

First of all I would like to say enjoy your look because someday you would miss it. There is nothing you can do as your face is not hidden so everone can see it. I would advice your to dress more maturedly and also have a copy of your birth certificate especially when you go for interviews.

Hi. I could relate to your problem. I was young when I graduated from college and passed the board examinations. When I worked as an external auditor, my clients used to tease that maybe I was just asked by my mother to buy a vinegar or cooking oil in the store and that I was in their office by accident. I felt like they have doubts about my credentials. Maybe they were thinking like, "Who is this young girl advising us about accounting and management matters? Why should we take her advise seriously?"
One of my bosses advised me to wear formal business clothes and to wear make-ups. I wasn't really accustomed to wearing make-ups but I had no choice. Somehow, that made me look a bit older than my real age.

looking young is better than looking mature in my opinion.. regarding your interviews.. i think there is a problem with the interviewer and not with you.. when you are looking for a job then they must consider your talent and ability.. not whether you look young or old.. i think your appearance has saved you by not getting selected for that job.. i think you are a single.. get married and you will see that you will appear mature as time passes after your marriage..

Well, I guess you should not worry much about your looking younger than you are, as long as your 'mental age' shows what your abilities really are. In my opinion your problem should be faced as something that can help you a lot. How? You will certainly cause a great impression when you start talking during, for example, a job interview. All stereotypes or misconceptions your interviewer had will be broken. Do not forget that you can always prove what your real age is just by showing your ID if necessary. That certainly is a nice way to meet other people. Good luck, and do not be too hard on yourself.

I believe the simplest way is to change your clothes to a more formal style. But the way you speak and behave have to be adapted to the community you are applying for. The employer cares more about your knowledge and skill. Good luck!

Wow you are strange!!! hahaha But yes I understand you somehow... when I was a little younger during my school days... I hate it when I was always treated like a little girl... though I am short But you know what as you grow older, I am already 29 now... you will get to love that younger looking.... Believe me angellyk24...
Just don't treat those comments badly rather take that as a compliment... Just learn how to handle or answer those questions about your looks and your real age. You just have to answer them with little sense of humor. Maturity doesn't come from how a person looks... but rather how he handle himself and the situation...
Walk smartly and confidently.

...Hi angellyk24, Congratulations for being in a place where most people would love to be. These are my suggestions, get yourself some horn rimmed glasses, plain glass as lenses, start wearing your hair up in a bun, like some librarians do, up and back, begin to build your wardrobe around dark blues and nice grays, you can lighten them up with colorful scarves or blouses. These things may give you the look of a sophisticated, five years older than you are lady. Good luck, hope this helps. Also, I would wear subtle makeup, not too much lipstick or mascara.

Hello Angel and welcome to my lot. When you get my age you will thank God to have a baby face. I don't know how to tell you to look older. I would be thankful if I looked younger then I am. As far as them asking what class your in I would look at them and say thank you but I have been out of school for how many years. I would act flattered when they say stuff like this believe me you will get a different look. Don't worry as you grow older you will appreciate those words. It may be how you dress or how you present yourself why you can't find a job. Dress in clothes that make you look more mature. Don't wear a lot of makeup. Put on some eye liner and eye lash makeup and a little dark lipstick. Might help. No eye shadow unless it is light brown or blush color. Might help.
