With these thoughts in your mind, how many of you have often skipping your Breakfast, lunch, supper, dinner etc... I don't skip my breakfast, lunch or dinner most probably.. I am very much concious about my health.. If I doesn't have strength to work, then, I cannot work effectively.. If I don't find time for eating at least for my sake, then what is the use of earning money? Now tell, how many of you don't care about your breakfast, lunch or dinner? [/b]

I used to be one of those people who just didn't care about anything. I would skip meals constantly. For about a year I would have to go days without eating because of the fact I wasn't making any money, and what money I did earn, had to go to things that i could eat in my room, and I had to streach that out as much as possible. My body adapted to it, and I got to where I just didn't want to eat. However, doing this for as long as I did, took a good sized hit on my blood sugar. So now If I skip a meal, then I get seriously ill sometimes a few minutes to a few hours later. So now, if I don't want to literally pass out I have to eat.

kaylachan sounds like you had low blood sugar. let me warn you that if you hAve that a lot it could well be a precursor to diabetes so if you do not want to become diAbetic listen to'your'body when it tells you I am hungry, and eat even if it is not a lot. From what you describe you have low blood'sugar and you need to get out of that rut. it can lead to diabetes and'trust me you can avoid that at all costs.

Actually the condition is called Hypoglycemia. I'm well aware of it, and I have it. So I know I need to eat, and eat regurally, especially if I'm up and about all day. I have Cerbal Polsy as well, and it only serves to irritate the Hypoglycemia. Why? Because I burn more engery doing every day tasks then the adverage person does running a marathon. And sugar or glucose is the body's number one source for engery next to fats and protines. So my sugar levels drop quickly the more active I am even if its something as simple as sitting in the truck going somewhere. Thanks for the info, but I already know. I've done my homework on the subject. I have a meter, and I try to get at least three meals in a day.

In weekdays, I will have three meals in normal time. But at many weekends, I get up very late, so I usully skip the breakfast, maybe also lunch at weekends. And I like eating snacks. I will buy much at weekends. Even if I feel hungry, I can eat snacks. I don't think it is harmful to my health.

hi felicityjiang a lot of doctors say that five or six small meals a day is actually very healthy as you never get really] low or high blood sugar. so your snacking is called grazing and is recommended specially for those of us who are diabetic as you are never really hungry that way and you use up what calories you eat so you do not run high on blood sugar. so it should also be good for other people too.

I don't usually skip any meals. If I skip any it is breakfast. Sometimes till I get up and get the kids all breakfast and clean up their breakfast I forget about it. Or it will be closer to lunch then to breakfast so I figure it would be better just to wait till lunch. I try not to skip any meals because they say it isn't good for you.

I used to skip breakfast everyday. But I no longer skip that or any other meal now. Breakfast is important anyway and even more so when you're trying to lose weight like I am as I read. I try to always find time to eat breakfast at least.

Hi arunmails! I work night shifts. I usually get up at 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM so I most likely skip my breakfast. I wanted not to skip meals but I'm too sleepy to get up just to eat then sleep again.

I never skip my meals. Apart for being bad, health wise for people to skip a meal, I find that I get weak and dizzy if I dont eat on time. Not only do I have breakfast, lunch and tea, but I often snack in between. I know the snacks arent good for me diet wise, so I have been trying to find snacks that are healthy. If people skip a meal, their metabilism slows down. Plus, their sugar level might get too low as well.

I usually do I confess! Yesterday I missed both breakfast and lunch. I slept at around 5 AM and woke at 5.30 PM! I stay up all night either studying, watching movies, playing games, etc. But today, its around 9 AM now, and I just had my breakfast. So I guess its a nice start to a hopefully nice day. I hope you too, have a nice day. Take care.

I always make sure that I eat dinner in a given day. However, it is a frequent occurence for me to skip either breakfast or lunch or even to skip both of them. The reason for this being is that for me eating is sort of a social thing and during the middle of the day my daughter is at school and my husband is at work and there is no one to sit down and eat with so it is depressing to me in a certain sense. However, since I've started mylotting, I find that I am eating lunch more often because I see being on here as being social so I'm not bored to eat when I am mylotting.

i used to skip my breakfast everyday. since i started this habbit, i have achieved the right body physique which is needed for my age and height. during lunch i only take at least 60 percent of my stomach capacity. if i feel i had exceeded this amoutn, i felt so sleepy. my supper is a little bit smaller in amount to maybe 50 percent. i had a nightly walk routine and i am doing it 1 hour after having my supper. this is what i am doing everyday and i feel great. by the way, it is good to listen of our biological needs at times.

I almost always skip breakfast and sometimes skip lunch. It is one the most horrible things I do to my health. I need to lose weight and I know that skipping meals is just making it harder for me. I get distracted with things tho and dont have a great schedule for myself. I feed my kids every morning but feel too rushed to take time for myself. Its a bad habit that I need to break.

Most probably i dont skip. but in some busy days at office my lunch delays. Usually i take lunch at around 1.00 pm but in busy days (for 2/3 days per/week) it will be 3 or 3.30 pm. Then i have to suffer with severe headache.

I usually skip breakfast for two reasons. One is that Im still asleep and wouldnt wake up until early afternoon. Two Im running late for class or something. So I ultimately skip breakfast. With lunch, I would postpone lunch until late afternoon but I cant not have lunch. Postponing it would be bad enough but I get hunger pangs when Im not able to eat breakfast and lunch. There are times however when I do get to grab something before I get out of the house. It would be a sandwich or some biscuits and eat that while walking to the jeep stop or even while on the jeepney ride to school. That's a light lunch for me and Id just have some snacks when I would feel hungry around late afternoon. I know skipping meals might not be good for the health, but if one's body is attuned to that kind of lifestyle, woudldnt altering a part of that cellular memory make it even worse? Well, I guess that sounds like an excuse but that is how Ive been eating as far as I know. There are those occasions that I do get to wake up early just in time for breakfast but I still dont have breakfast. My body doesnt feel like eating during that time. Sleep is what gets me going. I can fast for days and still functional but when Im deprived of sleep, everything goes haywire.

Yes, sometimes when I am really busy in the day I have to skip a meal to have time to complete my tasks. The meal I miss most of the time is Breakfast. But I am able to have a snack during the day so I can make up for the meal or meals that I will miss.

Hi there. Well you have the point. I also skip breakfast very often becuase I used to wake up very late in the morning too. I sleep very late in the evening as well because of the things I need to do with my computer and that includes writing something in mylot.
