well, AVG is the best choice for free. but, if you plan to buy some antivirus software, try kaspersky. you can use Kaspersky Internet Security ( KIS ) or Kaspersky Antivirus ( KAV ) KIS have firewall to protect you when you brwosing in internet, KAV is only antivirus not include firewall and anti spyware. i have used kaspersky 4 years :) and it's very safe :D

In the market, there is lot of anti virus software available and we can also download some free version from the net.I think it is better to purchase a licensed version of anti virus software,so that we can update it with out any problem.I am using NOD32 anti virus software in computer for the last three years and this software is working very finely for me with out any problem.I have also tried softwares like Norton and Kasper sky,but after the installation the system performance is very slow,so i uninstalled it.

I use NOD32 business version. It's warez so if the police finds out, I can get arrested and thrown into jail but police officers do it themselves also, so I am kind of ignoring the law. Not really recommended in most countries but here police does nothing. I think you mean anti spyware software, spyware are different from virusses but the best antivirus programs also offer solutions for that. ;)

I'm using Kaspersky Internet Security on my PC and so far it is doing it's job very well, It's worth the money you will spend for the retail version but for those who don't to spend a single penny for their anti virus, I would recommend AVG Free anti virus, It also does it's job in protecting your pc.

I would personally recommend you use something like Norton 360. This has to be paid for but it's well worth it. I've never had any trouble with this antivirus product. I scan my system once per week and everything is fine. Nortan 360 does absolutely everything you can think of. If you are looking for a good free antivirus product though then I would recommend you use AVG free. I've never used spydoctor and I'm not familiar with that product but in terms of Norton 360, this is a good product. Andrew

I started with Norton years ago, but I found that it just wasn't all that effective like it used to be, and I got tired of paying the subscription, so I don't bother with ti anymore. Then I used avg, but I didnn't like it all that well, so I decided to go to avast. T don't have any problems with it. I think I will probably stay with avast. I know there are different ones out there, and they all work pretty much the same, but then I think some are better than others. What I like about avast is it automatically updates the database, so I don't have to do anything. Take care, and happy mylotting.

Hi, i use AVG Internet Security in Windows XP and Norton INternet Security in Windows 7. I really liked Norton Internet Security 2010. Earlier i was using Kaspersky Internet security 2010 in Windows 7 but it created some trouble in the Windows and blocked Gtalk messenger and even created some problem while opening webpages. It really created a lot of trouble in the internet part but on the protection of files and computer, it did its job.

I use kaspersky the most vigilant antivirus I could say. It keeps a watch on every single activity of mine and automatically quarantines any virus affected files or corrects the files

you choose the avira anti virus, that is the better anti virus than the other, avira is the free download software also, so i recommended to use the avira anti virus, so better you choose this option , this is my opnion about the avira anti virus, and i don't aware of AVG anti virus, i know about only the avira.

I use Nod 32. I use the paid ones cause free ones have a weak engine I recommend you to stop using free ones and go for a paid antivirus like that from symantec , mcafee or nod. spy doctors are great but best used with an firewall and an antivirus no, spydoctors, are specifically meant to remove spyware and not essentially viruses.
