I don't know when I love to collect recipes from the net, but I found it fun. Many recipes are not even published in cook books, and those are the rare ones. I used to buy cook books but now, I don't think I would since finding a recipe that I want is way easier on the net. I love to copy and then save them. Occasionally I would print them and keep them. I also love to cook / bake from those recipes. What about you? Do you love to copy and save recipes from the internet? Or you just buy cook books instead?

We do that almost every week. We are on a diet so it makes it easier for us to have the recipes to plan each meal for the week and helps us stick to only what we need to get for the recipes when we go to the grocery store. It saves time and money for us.

The internet offers a ready way to copy and collect recipes, so I've begun using it to get immediate results for recipes I need. I still get many cookbooks as gifts and would continue to buy those books that have authors or recipes I have sought out before. I also use the internet to try to find recipes for certain restaurant dishes I want to learn to duplicate. I've not had great success though. Generally, though, I can copy recent Food Network recipes I may be interested in.

I get recipes off of people's blogs or from recipe websites. I also get recipes form cookbooks. Usually i make them and then change them based on what I like.

Yes i love collecting recipes from the internet too. Im compiling them into what i call The Neverendng Cookbook on a DVD disk. With pictures whenever possible. I also have a file on it call "health facts". Sometimes i print them out to take to the kitchen then save them ina 3 ring binder in sheet protectors. Those are the ones i use frequently.

Oh yes definitely I ave a folder dedicated to it. It is something I have really been doing alot of the moment, It is fun and is also expands from recipe repertoire, I would have to have countless amounts of books to hold the amount of recipes I have from the net.
I also collect them from magazines especially the free magazines that you get in the supermarket. Now to save on space I think I will start to scan the recipes and save them instaed of filing in my binder because my binder is very full.

Hi there jofeli!
Yes, I do find some interesting recipes online. I do copy them. I get them saved in word format. There are so many interesting recipes online. It is also very accessible. Buying cookbooks can be very expensive so I might as well rely on the recipes I see online.

Yeah, I used to copy and save recipes from the internet when i was new to cooking. i would copy and save filipino recipes that are easy to prepare like sinigang, tinola, menudo, monggo, afritada and adobo among others. since, i have been cooking for more than three years, i don't copy and save recopes from the internet anymore.. but if i want to learn a new dish, i would visit my favorite filipino cooking site and check what are the ingredients i need to prepare, how to cook it, etc.. you know, if given a wonderful opportunity, i would like to enroll myself into a culinary school and be a famous chef..

Hi Jofeli,
I love collecting cook books as much as downloading and collecting recipes from the internet. You are right to say that most of the exquisitely rare recipes are found mostly on the internet but I love the photographs in most cookbooks and sometimes I try to cook recipes that look appetizing and meals that are new to me. I don't print recipes however but I keep them in an external hdd.

I do actually. Well, not those complicated meal recipes. I cant cook that well, I cant even cook at all.LOL That's why Im fond of looking for those easy to make, no bake dessert recipes being that I soo love dessert. Whenever I find those small recipe treasures on the net that I could really do in a short amount of time and with no great amount of fuss Im sure to print them out. I have a plastic booklet where I keep all of my found recipes. I sometimes modify my own recipes and I also love to experiment in the kitchen.^_^
My Mom has cookbooks but I dont buy those kinds of books for myself. My Mom already has enough.LOL I cant do those recipes in the cookbooks, well, not yet anyway.LOL

I love the internet. Whenever I want to make something new, I always check the internet for recipes. I usually find several similar to what I want to make and I always save them and print out the one I am going to attempt. A lot of times, looking at some will lead me to others and I end up saving several recipes for something totally different than what I was looking for in the first place. Hmmmm... Maybe that's why I'm overweight...

I prefer net than cook books. Video results are also present in the net.It makes more easier way to learn even. There are lot of sites for cooking recipes to find variety of dishes. I learnt many variety of dishes from net. Good luck.
