Every once in a while I love to get a double cheeseburger either from Burger King or McDonalds. They both have them on their dollar value menu which is wonderful when you're trying to save some money. I just recently noticed though that Burger King's double cheeseburger is bigger than McDonald's double cheeseburger. Has it always been bigger? Do you like to get double cheeseburgers from either of those places?

I'm not big on the sauces on the burgers. I just like the ketchup. I think McDonalds using ketchup and mustard on their cheeseburgers.

I haven't been to burger king in years, because there isn't one around here, and the last time I went to one (in the States, I live in Canada) I ordered a whopper. I do remember McDonalds double cheeseburgers though, as being pretty tiny. I suppose the only thing that's smaller than a McDonalds double cheeseburger would be a White Castle. LOL

Oh yeah, White Castle is tiny. I think I have only had their burgers once before. Didn't care for them that much.

I have never had a double cheeseburger. Really. The only 2 times I ever had a cheeseburger I got violently ill. I've also never cared for double meat on burgers - too much meat I guess, donno - never done it. But, then again, I don't eat at either Burger King or McDonalds, so I wouldn't know about them either! when I do get burgers its either from What-A-Burger or Sonic unless I really want to treat myself and go to Fuddruckers

You're the first person I heard of that never had a double cheeseburger. You're really better off. Where was the cheeseburger from that made you ill?

This is just one of my favorite. It's a good thing that we don't have it here in my city so I wouldn't grow that big hehe. However, when we go to Manila, we never missed it. Hmmm yum yum!

The flavor or Burger king is amazing , just McDonalds is the same flavor , not really new hamburgers so i dont really like and they have similar price and the size is better in Burger King and the different things you can find in Burger King, different burgers, spicy sauces, chilis, tacos, etc. Burger King has better burgers and size. Yes it always has been bigger than McDonalds and better promotions.

Hello Shar19, I love cheeseburger. Like you, once a while I will go and get my double cheeseburger at these fast food restaurants. I realized long time ago that Burger King has a bigger and better double cheeseburger compare to McDonalds. It costs more than McDonalds' too. I feel really full whenever I have a set that consist double cheeseburger at Burger King!

I love hamburgers from both food chains. We have both here in the Philippines. In Florida, we went to both food chains too when we craved for really big cheeseburgers. I didn't mind the price. It wasn't me who paid, hehe. My sister did.

I don't eat at McDonalds unless there is no other choice. But, yes Burger King 's burgers are always bigger and better in my book. I love Burger Kings crispy chickin sandwich:) yummy !! We are lucky enough to have Sonic now too tho and we alternate between the two. Love their cherry cokes :)

I love the crispy chicken sandwich too from Burger King. I usually get it with the slice of cheese on top, no mayo. I never had anything from Sonic before. There isn't one close enough to where we live. I also love cherry coke. What else is good from Sonic?

I love their hamburgers and hot dogs with or without chilli. The have great onion rings and fries are good and hot and crispy. It just depends on what you like. I have't much at the one we go to that isn't good. They have a dollar menu and it's just the reg. stuff only smaller. Ice cream cones, malts shakes they are all good. They do have a chicken dinner with white gravy that excellent too. Makes me hungry thinking about it !! I do admit Burger King makes the best crispy chicken sandwiches !

I'm actually not a fan of either of the double cheeseburgers. What is really funny here is that I thought you were going to be talking about the fact that Burger King is going to be taking one piece of cheese off of their double cheeseburgers starting in April. That was one of the big stories on my home page yesterday and I thought that it was quite interesting because when I think of a double sandwich I think of double meat and also double cheese.

No! Say it isn't so. I didn't know that. What's the point then of calling it a double cheeseburger?

While I do not frequent either Burger King or McDonalds, when I do get the desire to, it will always be Burger King, given those are the only two choices. Burger King's burgers are much better than McDonalds, across the board. At least they have some flavor. There's just something about McDonalds' burgers that doesn't even resemble meat; the tast is bad, even in their Angus burgers. Their fries are great, but I will never buy a burger there. All things being equal, Burger King is better and bigger and a better value.

Im a big fan of Burger King because they have the best burger for me. They are also lot bigger than McDonald though they are more but it is really worth it. I tend to eat at Burger King every time I received my salary because it's my way of treating my self.

we don't eat out alot, but when we do we head to mcdonalds for their double cheeseburgers... i just don't like burger kings.. i like the onions that mcdonalds uses on their burgers and i love the buns.they are soft . bk's seem to be harder..yes i do think bk's is bigger but i think it's the way it's cooked. being on an open flame and also a different cut of hamburger is used. mcdonalds also has the mcdouble on the dollar menu which is a double cheeseburger minus one piece of cheese..

Every so often I get a craving for something bad like that. Over the last year I've been eating healthy and feel pretty good. I'll go get one of those cheeseburgers and it's a little bit of heaven! But then I feel rather sick the whole rest of the day and my stomach gets really upset. So I only do that every few months. I'm looking for a substitute. Making my own burger comes pretty close!

I'm trying to cut back on the fast food too. If I do go to get the kids a cheeseburger then most of the time I'll get myself a salad instead. I also feel awful later after I have eaten a burger from a fast food place.

They claim that the Burger King double cheeseburger is bigger and better, but I haven't had one yet. I have had the McDonald's one tho, and its pretty good, and even tho its a double cheeseburger its not big enough to make you feel guilty for eating it..lol. I'll usually order one of those and some fries off the dollar menu and a drink and I've got a good lunch thats not too heavy and all for a cheap price.

I noticed the Burger King burger is slightly bigger, but the taste is terrible. The McDouble is absolutely delicious. I have become absolutely addicted to those little burgers. At only $1, you can afford to buy a few of them and still have change.

For me, Burger King takes the crown (pun intended, lame as it is) for burgers. They are bigger in size, and just pack more of a mightier, juicier taste Although, when it comes to burgers, I'm really not that fussy

I don't like McDonald's burgers at all. Their breakfast tastes o.k. though. I would much rather eat at Burger King, I always get the Whopper Jr. to me it tastes better than the full-fledged Whopper. I think they beat McDonald's hands down on taste, quality and service. It seems that when the blue moon comes around, and I do eat at McDonald's, I get the worst service imaginable. Last time I went, they served me very old tasting, greasy, and stale fries. I asked for some more, and they gave me another batch of the same fries! What ever happened to service? Anyway, Burger King is named the king for a reason. They're #1!

I'll agree with you there. I think Burger King has better service. Plus their drive through is faster too.
