I baked some boneless chicken breast last Sunday. And I also had some baked macaroni to go along with it. Our macaroni was eaten so fast, that we did not have anything to eat the chicken with. So, I was hungry one day and I had an idea. I decided that I would eat my chicken breast on bread with some mayonnaise. I tried this and it was very delicious. I ate the rest of the leftover chicken breast like this for the rest of the week. I did not know that chicken breast could ever taste so good on bread. Have you ever cooked chicken and ate it a certain way other than your usual intention?

Me and my flatmate really like eating roast chicken and we had leftovers so I put them in a pot with some stock and vegetables and made soup! It was delicious, and I will be doing that again for sure! Oh, and I like chicken with mayonnaise in a sandwich too, lovely for lunch!

Oh yes, left over cooked chicken can make delicious sandwiches. Right now in fact I have some in my lunch box…leftovers from yesterday’s dinner of rice and chicken curry. Did not have mayo at home so its just butter, smashed potatoes and shredded cooked chicken…a bit dry but then its OK. Of course with mayo its way more tasty and just the right kind of moist. I also use the leftover chicken to make chicken noodles or put them in pasta…equally delicious.

I make chicken no matter how I have cooked it the left over chicken is used for many things at different times. I have made sandwiches, shredded it and put it in salads, made a chicken salad, added it to rice, added it to noodles, etc.

This is a good idea. I don't like wasting the food. It is good that you can take good advantage of the leftover chicken and even make it as another delicious dish) I love China

That does sound good. We just had KFC chicken for dinner. I like their original style and it is close so we get it occasionally. Your chicken sandwich sounds good. Chicken salad in the summer is good too. Mixing avacados and mayonnaise. Makes all hungry for Summer food now.

I like the left over chicken I end up with, I can make so many things! Chicken sandwiches are good, next time try your favorite kind of cheese with it! (makes it even better!) or toast the bread so it's like a panini. I use the chicken to make big (a regular size pie pan) chicken pot pies (using left over veggies) Chicken soup (sometimes I have to buy chicken broth)

I am always using chicken leftovers to make something else. Chicken salad, chicken noodle soup, chicken quesadillas, casseroles, shredded BBQ chicken sandwiches...the possibilities are endless.

Hiya cream, Very often I will roast a Chicken and make a sauce to go with it and with the left overs I will use it the next Day to add to Bean Stew or Lentils. No one likes Chicken Sarnies or anything like that they prefer me to do something else like Frankfurters but not anything from the Chicken they are awkward in that sense I don´t know why they don´t like it but they just won´t eat it if I put it together so it goes into the Bean Stew that I make up the next Day and they eat that no protesting either (grin). Are´nt they strange sometimes eh gal?xxx
