Yes if you haven't heard this already you are hearing it now! I'm sorry but I hate being my weight & I surely would not make it a goal to become 1200lbs to get a tv show & in the guiness book of world records.
Do you think she's off her block?
Would you ever gain a substantial amount of weight on purpose? (other than pregnancy & being underweight/annorexic to begin with)
Sexy? I know there are chubby chasers but I think they even have a limit on who they are willing to chase.

I can't imagine anyone who is already that overweight wanting to gain that much more weight. The woman has to have serious mental issues and, if she does not already, she will soon have major health problems. I think anyone who encourages this woman is sick and probably needs help themselves. It is scary what people will do for attention. *coughs*Octomom*coughs*

Lily... that's what I said about my mom when she gave up wanting to do things for herself.. one of those last spurts of energy before she passed she was talking about dignity. And I told her "Ma you gave that up when you let someone else wipe your butt!" KWIM? Ya figure eventually she'd get so large she'd be bed bound probably have a cathader and a bed pan for company and have to pay for nursing care to help maintain her health & hygene once you can't reach back there no more!
bonbon- Dito on the weight struggle. And perhaps she has given up as you said. Really it's a tough battle to do.. BUT I don't think I could just toss in the towel and go to town and binge all day long either. Sounds good for 5 min but you know that saying a moment on the lips a lifetime on the hips & they were singing to the choir on that one! I"m ok when I"m plateaued but if I go up I get worked up and po'd but when I drop it like everyone else you feel better about myself! Plus who wants to keep buying new clothes? Eventually they will run out of sizes and she'll be down to a toga/sheet.

Yeah that's a good point I wonder how much weight can a toilet support? You figure she'll eventually be bed ridden wich will be so helpful in raising her 3yo when they usually need to be physically removed from the situation.
I think the only one that would help her loose it is Richard Simmons. I believe he's helped people that were bed bound shed some weight. BUT she wants to gain, not loose!

Yeah, she's nuts! Isn't there someone there telling her how terrible for her health this is?
I tell you what... since I've started losing weight I am amazed at all the stuff I can do now that I couldn't before. I don't get winded easily anymore, and even if I am winded I can still push through it (because I force myself to when working out). I can run and play with my kids. I always stop and think about these things I couldn't do when I was over 200 lbs. I couldn't even take a shower without getting winded and needing a break before getting dressed. I can't imagine the sorts of things this woman can't do.. you'd think that alone would bother her.

See I know when I gain like most my clothes fit too tightly and my knees will bother me a lil bit as I have bricitus.... it's a big ol' red flag! I don't get winded too easily but I've been over 200 for so long I don't think it phases me like it does you. But yes I agree it's harder to play with your kids or have the energy / motivation to want to when it's harder to get off the floor ect. She's waddling as it is how is she going to jump up and chase her 3yo?

That's just disgusting, plain and simple. This woman's 'goal' is going to leave her daughter growing up without a mother, because it's going to kill her. I can't believe people and the media are actually giving this woman the attention she wants and are actually donating money so she can buy more food. Why would anyone want to watch a show about this? It's just completely wrong on every level.

Exactly! Them donating money to her is just evil and even moreso turning her life into a media circus! It's like she's begging for a show or to see if she could break the record and then what? Lay in a bed til her life comes to an end? No thanks! Or is she then going to beg her followers who have helped feed her to help pay for gastric or nursing care for her or a nanny to help with her kids since she will be unable to do so?

Never read/see a person who want to gain so munch weight on purpose.
Ah! Yes, i have ever seen that, it was in an episode of The Simpson: Homer wants to weight more than 300 lbs (euh, i'm not very sure with the weight), he wants to be obese (he has always wishing for that XD) to be handicap so he would be able to work at home instead of going to the nuclear central and doing 5mn of gym every morning lol. Maybe the girl wants to be handicap too? o_O'

Well at abt 600lbs what job could she work? There are not alot of desk jobs out there.
Yeah I recall that episode that was awful! I'd rather go to work than sit home all day (I have spent 5yrs @ home w/ my kids and it's boring & sux) w/ a lil bird thingie to keep hitting a button for me. How sad.

If you watch the video she's even asking the 3yo if she likes her momma's belly! WTH?!?! This story has really made me realize I may be heavy but I can still buy clothes in a normal store, I can touch my toes and chase my kids!
BTW... she has 2 kids! They won't be kids for too long rather servants taking care of their mother who will be too heavy to move.

I think the woman is nuts. It's so unhealthy to be that big and I don't understand how she could want that. She eats so much that she gets donations from people to help pay for the groceries. That is absurd. I know she'll get fame for making the world record, but that doesn't balance out the health issues at all. I wonder why she would be willing to risk her health for this...

Man, I would never want to gain that much weight even they offer me the president's chair or a million bucks... She looks too awfully BIG!!! I have always preferred to be in shape. Weight will bring so many troubles with it, like blood pressure issues and heart issues... Not me!!!! I am 135 lbs now and want to weigh in this range only...
Have a good time!

Congrats for being in shape! I wish I could say the same but as long as I'm not headed down her path and my heath is in order all I can do is make my life healthier and if I drop some weight along they way I haven't seen that weight in a long time, I would just be thankful to be under 200 one day.

I think its crazy for anyone to want to be overweight/obese.
Why put your health at rist on purpose? Ridiculous.
I'm an overweight woman & if someone was to ask me to gain just 5lbs for a TV/Reality Show I still wouldn 't do it. I wouldn't even do it for money because I am fighting a fight as it is with my own weight, why put my life at more risk?
I hope this woman seeks some kind of counseling to help her with this, because she is making a big mistake.
Maybe they should have her talk with someone who is that much overweight & let them have a go at her & hopfully talk some sense in her.

I don't think it would knock any sense in her she wants to break the record for heaviest woman alive. That's a record I would not want to break! Who want's to be bed ridden unable to do the basics of daily living for themself? I felt horriable having my hubby help me after my c-sect w/ my son cause it hurt to do everything and it was a horrible experience for me & to be that dependent on him to even get out of bed w/o tearing up in pain.

What a nutter, who in their right mind thinks that being that overweight is such a great idea. Apart from all the health risks she is taking, I cannot believe that anyone would willingly want to put their body through all that. I would never, ever, want to be that heavy.

I don't want to be as heavy as I am as it is... but you know when you can't buy clothes at a physical store & have to have clothes custom made/ordered it's time to do something about it! Not feed the problem and make it worse!

yea,i saw that.
well,if that's what she wants..but she's putting her body at high risk doing that.
i can only imagine the strain she's putting on her organs.
would i gain weight on purpose? no.especially that much, because sooner or later you'll probably need help taking care of yourself and i'd rather not impose on someone else to do so.

I think the woman is ready for the loony bin. She's seriously mentally ill. Do you realize how much it will cost the taxpayers? Sure ya do. She's selfish. What about her little girl? This type of thing is a prime example of a mentally ill person who needs help badly. However, she won't get it and nobody can force her to.

Shoot I'd love to be slim or even half my size as I am heavy myself. BUT to want to gain so much weight and become imobile and stress on her body on purpose is pure insanity!

You said it sister! Sadly she thinks her girth is an asset even with her limited mobility! *shaking head* Man somedays I wonder if my knees will give out and I'm a lil less than half of her.

Regardless of looks - I think it is VERY selfish for her to want this. She has 2 kids! How can she raise them, play with them, protect them, if she can't get off the couch b/c she is 1000 pounds?
And with that much weight on her, she is likely to die young and leave her kids without a mom.
Parents should do what they can to live long for their children and to be able to play with their children.
WORST MOM EVER.

The closest that I've ever been to that kind of a weight was 1/4th of 1200 pounds and I hated it when I was that way. I felt like I couldn't find clothes that fit and I didn't like being the person that was looked at funny because I was fat. That said, why would I ever want to intentionally gain that kind of weight? I wouldn't, I would rather maintain my quiet life and work on becoming the person that I actually want to be in my life. My goal is to slim down more than I have already and I wouldn't do anything extreme so that I could be a quasi-celebrity.

Such a bad idea! How in the Earth you are able to do anything when you weight 1000+lbs. That lady must be out of her mind. hope she got enough money to buy food and big enough bed for herself where she can spend rest of her life.
And when it comes to chubby chasers there is no one who would like to get laid with that lady when she fill whole bedroom just to change from one rib to the other. And isnĀ“t it dangerous to be that fat, think about it her fat will break her bones etc.
WOW
