I like to have normal water. My husband always have cold water. He thinks it is refreshing as we live in a place which is hot almost throughout the year. My parents drink only boiled water as the quality of water is not good in the place where they live. They boil water with an ayurvedic medicine and keep it always at home for drinking purpose.

good topic. Yes i prefer to drink water cold, naturally. I don't like water preserved in a refrigerator. In kerala even though the climate is very hot mostly, yet hot water is served in hotels. This is found to be one of the reasons why heart attacks are less in kerala even though people consume high quantity of meat. No bottled drink can replace a glass of cold water when one is thirsty.

I agree that no bottled drink can replace a glass of cold water. So, are you saying that having hot water helps not to have heart attacks? This is a new information to me. Even in Chennai some of the hotels provide boiled water and they serve it hot. I think they serve boiled water because the qualilty of water is not very good.

According to a survey conducted by AIIMS Delhi. having hot water after a non veg meal wil burn most of the fat and prevent the formation of cholestrol. Its a practice followed even in Japan. so start dringking hot water.

Hi,daliaj
I wonder what the normol water and cold water are exactly,I usually drink bioled water coz I just live beside yangzi river, that's also common in my nation.
Some people will say they like bottle water that sold in supermarket,I think just major part of people here donnt take it sensible to spent extra money on dring water at home.

Normal water is lukewarm water which is kept at home under normal temperature conditions. Cold water is the water kept in refrigerator, which is mostly used by people living in hot weather conditions. There are also people who use boiled water mostly masy be because the quality of the water they get may be low. Also, boiling helps to kill the bacterias or fungi in the water, which may cause diseases to us.

Lukewarm water with honey. I have heard about this soemwhere. I think this helps to reduce weight. Also, you need to have it as first thing in the morning, before braekfast. My unlce takes four galasses of water every morning. He says that this helps him to avoid many diseases. Keep doing. Have a good day.

Hi daliaj, I do live in region which is not throughout the year, therefore we sweat easily and need water to quench our thirst at any time. Before going out almost everyone of us will bring a bottle of cold water with us. We usually fill the bottle with cold water. As I know it's not good to our health if drinking hot water from the plastic bottle
We have water filter to supply us daily drinking water. I like drinking cold water fresh from the device. I boil the required amount only if I need hot boiling water to prepare beverage like tea and coffee. My husband and his sister prefer to drink the cold boiled filter water.
Happy posting

hai daliaj!I prefer mud pot water.it gives me naturally cool water.I don't like refrigerated water which is over cool sometimes and digestion is affected even by it.taking boiled water is advised if you are out of station for a while.Change of water may spoil your health and so boiled and cooled water is good in that case or take mineral water.

I have water according to the change in seasons. Suppose it is winter season, then I prefer drinking normal water as I won't fall ill. And now I am drinking cold water as it is summer season here. In my family noone drinks boiled water as we have a purifying water system called kent. So, there is no need to boil the water and so I have no other problem. So, on the whole I drink both cold and normal water.

I usually drink cold water from the kitchen tap. I never drink from other taps in the house as alot of the pipes around it are copper and probably a bit dirty. If I were to drink water from any other taps I would have to boil it first.
Talking of boiled water, it is probably my most consumed form of water as I usually drink tea and coffee- which ofcourse for the most part contain boiled water. :-)
I only drink water by itself with meals.

Hi daliaj. I usually will drink cold water. The only time that I will boil my water is when it has a nasty taste to it. I also drink many flavored calorie free waters too. These waters are very nutritious. And they are crisp and cool. I like many types of waters that have 100% Vitamin C in it too.

Hi,there.I like to have cold water almost everytime .But if in cold days which the temperature is too low I will drink normal water.I seldom drink boiled water if only I have to .You know, each time I drink boiled water it's certainly that I will be ironed. It's really not a good feeling for me.And I think my stomach have a gastric heat so that the cold water is good for me.

Hi daliaj, I usually drink water at room temperature. However, it was said that cold water tends to be absorbed by our bodies faster. Therefore, after exercise, I would drink cold water to replenish the body fluids.
