Do you buy souvenirs when you go some place new?

hell0! yes, I always buy some souvenirs from the place I am and I always choose something that is really unique for that place, not just something common that I can find on other places!

yeah i like to get something from a new place we go to. a few years ago my son got me and him tickets to go to new york to see the yankees play. i ended spending like almost $200 on things. i came home with a shirt and a watch and something for my son. she asked why did i have to buy those, you cant go and see the yankees play that is 7 hours away and not come home with something. then i told her i saw this really nice jacket i was about to buy, and i told her i was thinking i could have saved it for chirstmas and she could have gave it to me as a gift but i didnt. she told me well you should have but yeah i like things from places i go to

i do only if i see something that is really cool and something i cannot get anywhere else, like something like you mentioned from new york city.

Definitely if possible, I will buy something to remember my trip. But I have been told that memory serves us better than tangible stuffs. Thus, I have tried not to purchase anything but it did not work. Somehow, it became a habit. But I tried to buy things that I will use instead of stuffs like a paperweight which I hardly used it.

maybe as a Pilipino this is one of our attitude to get some remembrance or souvenirs for every place we come into., and even our friend will ask some souvenir from us as one of their collections., that is why when i go some places, i need and extra money to buy some souvenirs.,

yes i absolutely do buy souvenir when i have been to a place for the first time.. the souvenir just shows me that i have been there.. of course i buy souvenir which has the name of the place on it (just a like a shirt) or some souvenir the place is known to or souvenir relating to the place trademark... :-)

Yeah, when younger I like buying souvenirs once I come to a new tourist site. I couldn't help buying the attractive stuffs available in the kiosks there. Besides I like purchasing the signature food like chocolate, cookies, perfume, fruits which are popular. I didn't feel tired at all to carry those stuffs on the journey. Later on I found I seldom eat or use most of them. Even not all the family members or friends really appreciate the souvenirs I bought for them. Nowadays I try not to buy many souvenirs during my trip or vacation. I only purchase those stuffs which I really need them. Most of the time I would like to buy some popular signature food of the place I visit that suits my taste. I always did this everytime I am out of my town. I am an adventurer person, I love to go different places. Everytime I left the place I visited I always look some this that I can bring back home. Souvenirs are common in many places so not difficult for us to buy or ask from our friends.

I collect music from around the world and when I visit a new country I usually buy some cds so that I can get to know some of the local bands and singers. I also like to buy presents for my family and my friends. When I was younger I usually bought other kinds of souvenirs like postcards and dolls, but now I prefer to stick to music most of the time. When I visit different parts of my own country I sometimes take pictures of the places that I visit, but I usually don't buy souvenirs.

Yes, I do buy souvenirs, but only if the place is really nice and I had fun there. If the trip is not very memorable, I don't bother buying souvenirs because for me the point of buying souvenirs is having something that would make you relive the feeling of being in that place.

I'm a Filipino too and we do have that tradition. Well I guess it depends on the money I brought. But yes I do buy souvenirs. Provided that it's the cheapest I can get to buy lots of it. We also do have this culture that friends normally buy native items for their friends such as anklets, bracelet, key chain, key holder, etc. Perhaps it was made to be bought as souvenir at an afford rate. But whenever I'm with our family I ask my mom to buy some for my preferences. They're only for selected persons because my mom would probably get mad of too much spending. You know moms... LOL

Of course i do , and when i buy this souvenirs i make my family happy.If i go to other country i can`t but some regularly souvenir which i can buy from my own town , i`ll buy something special , something like an anthem of that city or country.

Of course i do , when i go on trips or something like it i buy souvenirt for all members of my family , i make them happy.If i go to other cities i can buy the item of that city , that item that is popular there like you said , so i buy souvenirs in every chance to do it.I don`t miss my chance to make happy my friends and all peoplse who i love.

As far as I am concerned, I think if I am in a new place , I think I will try my best to make a souvenirs which I can regard as my favorite one to the new place. If I though the souvenirs , I think I can recall my visit to the new place,which I have ever enjoyed my life so much. So I think it is so necessary for me to have a souvenirs.

I usually do if I find something unique or very attractive. I usually buy some of those necklaces: my favorite accessory.
