hi moondancer ohyes indeed I have and am sending more prayers that she will be fine and no surgeries and more illness. I let her know that I would be sending prayers and will continue to do so as I know she is very worried and scared as any of us would be.She sure is a lovely sweet lady and we should send all the love and prayers we can and our best hopes for all to be really well. I am having a great weekend just being thankful for what I have and trying to be grateful to be where I do not really want to be, as I do have a roof over my head a nd am fed every day although I would not go into ecstasies over their food but somedays its really quite good. I am just sp oiled until now I was my own cook,waitress and bottle washer and happy I could do it ,and I do miss that so much. but this is a home for now.

I know Opal is sweet and I am worried about her very much I would love to talk to her as she is one of my Sweet Friends and I feel lost at the moment that I can not soothe her and help her She certainly has my Love and thoughts with her all the way

I am asking that God makes these results as positive as possible for her. Yes, I am having a nice weekend. I am trying to. I have so much of my mind right now. But, overall, I thank God that I am alive and well. And I hope the same for Opal too.

OMG! That was so sweet of you moondancer! I can't tell you how much this means to me! I don't have the appointment set yet because I am having a hard time getting my records from the place that I usually go to every year. So right now I am hoping that the appointment will be next week, but am not sure. I want it to be as soon as possible! And yes, I am having a really hard time with the waiting and am very nervous. I'm sorry to hear that Opal is having to have these tests. Before I had reduction surgery I had to have a scan. I've had a few since then, probably need to talk to the doc about another one, but I haven't needed to visit my friendly neighborhood doctor in a while. I hope she can start a discussion when she's feeling up to it and let us know how things go.

Of course, Opal has my good wishes and luck. I know how much tests like these can worry a gal. I've had several scares in my life in this one particular area, too. (Or, would that be two? ) I had lumps. I had mammograms. I had sonograms. I had biopsies and I also had three surgeries but, to date, I have not had cancer, not there, anyway. So, there is no need to worry until/unless you hear those words you so desperately don't want to hear. Of course, it's natural to worry so I know what Opal is going through right now. I wish I could help her to not worry because the outcome is going to be the same whether she worries or not. I've learned to hold off on the worrying unless I actually get bad news. Maybe that's because I've been through so much nasty stuff in my life that turned out to be nothing... or very little... and worrying did nothing but bring my life to a standstill. Opal, if you read this, please try to keep a positive attitude. I know it's hard but there really is no sense in worrying over something you can't control. Just put your faith in the doctors and a higher power, if that's your choice. Worrying can lower your immune system and that's never a good thing. So, try to be positive. I wish you much luck that you come through these tests with flying colors and a great big smile on your face!

Dear Opal. My friend. I have had the mammograms every year for several years now. They aren't much fun but the thing goes by rather quickly and it is over until the next year. My thoughts are with you.

I do not know Opal but I will pray that everything goes well for her.I was scared to take a mammogram too after hearing that hurt so bad but then I was told that they have a new way of doing them..I agreed to get one and it did not hurt at all.. Now my new doctor wants me to have one and I do not want to..I have not made an appointment to do it yet,,l0l.. My prayers are with Opal and you too.. Blessings and you have a good week-end..

yes i have been praying for her. she is one of the first to post to my discussions. shes so nice. ive known her since i started here. i know what its like to go through this and i know support is the biggest thing along with prayer and an upbeat attitude. she will make it out ok im sure.

I do not know Opal but I sincerely wish her well and hope that she gets the best results possible. I imagine that its not so much the tests but the possible results which are making her so nervous. Whilst the tests (and any follow-ups which may be necessary) are not pleasant, I am very glad that I was able to have them all because, when there's something wrong, its better to know and to know early. She is certainly not alone and she has the good fortune to have you as a good and supportive friend I will be thinking of her next week.

I have been praying for her as she had hinted that something is just not right. I am in a retreat tomorrow with about 40 persons and we will pray for God's healing hand to touch her. Blessings

I wish her the very best. I had a cancer scare before in my life and both my parents have dealt with it. It's very scary and I understand her fears. I'll be sending good thoughts although I don't know her personally. I don't like seeing anyone hurting, even strangers. I think we all deserve a little love and support. And my weekend is going ok, thanks :)

She is indeed a great friend and have known her for quite awhile, since we email each other I know what she's been going through and how scared she must be. So, of course my thoughts and prayers will be with her that everything turns out all right

Hi I dont know who opal is, but from your discussion I can make out she is very famous here. Everyone loves her a lot. I pray for her well being, I hope she comes out totally fit after all her tests. I wish Her tests will be successful without causing her any pain. Also I would like to know her username in mylot, so that I can add her in my friends list. I am having a very sad weekend, since I had a quarrel with my love and I am in a very bad mood, but it is ok, I hope my mood will change tomorrow, Have a great weekend!

Although I do not know her personally, but I do hope and pray that everything will turn out well in her favor. I hope it does not involve bad cells. I know a lot of women undergo the same thing and survive after many years. She will be able to do this with our prayers.
