Hello friend. It is a long time since I last wrote a letter to my friend more than a decade ago. I think that it is because of the convenience of having the cell phones and the Internet that enable us to reach our friends more easily and quickly. I have no idea whether I will write another letter to anyone at this stage of life when the new technologies are so convenient to us. But of course, to write a letter once in a while can help you to recall those wonderful days in the past. Enjoy yourself and thank you for the add, yan.

I seldom write letters to my friends unless I send a packages to my friends. As the emails already take place of the letters. I love China

AS far as I am concerned, I think I seldom write a letter to my friends, which I think will waste me a lot of time to do that. For me, I think the techology is so developing all over the world, I think I just can make a phone call to him or her, or just get online to use the MSN or QQ to have a chat with him or her. I think that will be more convenient to me.

i dont think nowadays people are writting letter to each other. This is only done long long time ago since we dont have handphone, sms, or internet. Imagine if you want to write a letter, you need to buy the paper and buy stamp which i think its quite costly if you send your letter regulary. Besides, you need to waste some times going to post office just to send your letter. Do you think your prefer email or writing letter?

not anymore... i usually just send email nowadays... that is the fastest, cheapest and most convenient way to communicate with my friends... especially with so many social networking sites that are available nowadays like facebook, etc... i think there are hardly any people who still write paper letter to their friends nowadays ... take care and have a nice day...

It has been a very very long time since I last wrote to my friends when computers were not in massive use, and the only ways I could contact with friends were either by calling them or by writing to them. Compared with making phone calls, writing letters saved much more money, though it took a longer time. I still remember that I was filled with joy whenever I heard from my friends. It's something to boast about. But it is no longer like that now. With computers and easy access to internet, it's just so easy to keep in touch with friends within seconds. Some people may take the electronic communication as impersonal, but I don't really think so. Advanced technology provides us with a better and more efficient way to keep up with others. This is especially important in this information age. Now I prefer to contact friends via some chatting tools or by sending emails which certainly saves me much time and energy.

No, I don't write letters to my friends anymore nowadays. As what you've said, there are already a lot of new inventions that are more convenient and easy to use in terms of communicating with our friends and relatives who are miles away from us. Writing takes a lot of time before someone receive your message whereas cellphone call and text, e-mail, and chatting through internet takes only few seconds or minutes before the recipient gets it.

We're on this new age generation so I guess a lot people use technology to send message rather than the old-fashioned...However there are still some who often do it specially if their loved is on another country maybe they prefer to wrote a letter. And personally I used to send text messages whenever I want to say something important to my friends, family, etc...

Sadly, no. I remember when I was in college, me and my friends would write to each other all the time. We wrote pages and pages (our record being 32 pages written by one of my friends). And yes, it's slow. We lived in different sides of the same city. Sometimes she would mail the letter and we would see her before the letter arrive.

Writing letters is a good way to make them feel important, I'm sure you will feel important too if a friend troubles himself to write a letter for you. Writing a letter for a friend, relative or someone we love will never be replaced by email and cellphone texting. Anyway I still write letter to the people important to me.
