Sometimes I run in non pedestrian lane when I’m in a hurry.. Sometimes I parked in non-parking zone , I even sometimes over speed my wheels, and caught many times violates the specified speed limit in a highway.. Sometimes I crossed the pedestrian lane without waiting go signals. And worse of it sometimes I have reckless driving mood. .but of course that’s not always ,,lol.
Now I have my lesson, I will be so much careful about this as I have calculated the whole penalty it cost me a dime.lol. I realized how useful to abide in traffic law and regulations and not to pay for it. And also for my own safety I should be very careful next time.
How about you guys do you always abide over traffic regulations…?..I would love to hear from you my fellow mylotters….Have a great weekend everyone!!!

If don't abide to rules, then there is no civilization will happen. People will not be in unity, it will make the society not organize. Now, if we made something that is unlawful, then you are breaking the rules. The appropriate punishment will be bestowed upon them.

Hi Cloud,
I am the type of person who is always on the rush to the point of challenging even the traffic lights. I used to cross the streets even if it’s not yet time for me to GO. I run fast not to be hit by any vehicles and I used to receive a whistle from the traffic enforcer. Even my husband always calls my attention to follow traffic rules as it relates to crossing the street.
Now, I am doing my best to follow rules as I need to be a role model to my kids and of course for my safety too.

I don't drive but at my age I try to abide with the traffic rules especially if I'm with my kids. I have to set them an example using the pedestrian lane and crossing the streets cautiously to avoid accidents. It's not nice to be always in a hurry.

I don't know how it is on your part of the world, but over her in USA. The law is strict on that sense and the consequences are very expensive, not to mention lives and property would be on the line. So, why even question it? driving is not a right; its a privilege.

Well true as it maybe, I think is best to make it a law to worry about one's safety and that of those around us. After all that is the reason why we would welcome some laws for, help keep things under some sort of control.

Hi climber,
That's makes sense in your place, as for the rest of the country they were neglecting rules and no such strict law, as we had in my place the law is almost the same as in the US but most of the time there are still chances we can't avoid that to happened.Hope it won't change for better then. Thanks for sharing. And Have nice day ahead!

yes, my dear friend. for the more than 30 years i have been driving, i was apprehended by traffic policemen only twice, got a ticket twice and never figured in a collision, but was bumped once. i know for a fact, and i also preach, that wanton disregard for traffic laws can be fatal. it can result to collisions and other forms of accidents that can maim and even claim lives. to prove this, i've written a book on traffic rules and regulations for filipinos some years back. it was translated into three major dialects of the philippines and also tackled international driving practices. i also have an international driver's license... ironically, however, in one of my drives back home to kang-nam-du from a drinking in itaewon, i missed a red light and got a ticket two days later. the other ticket was issued when i parked at a no-parking area in yokohama, many years back.

I remember when I visited a classmate somewhere in Commonwealth, I did not used the over pass for crossing, rather I run as fast as I could crossing the highway . I could ever imagine how much danger i entered and that is never right because I might hit by a car . Fortunately, it did not happen and even it did not happen to me, I don't try it anymore. I will be patience to use the long stairs of overpass for my life will be safe. Aside from that and after that experience I abide any traffic laws and regulation.

hi cloud I do not drive but as a pedestrian I have jaywalked a few
times and its not always smart to do that.now I try to find cross
walks with traffic lights so I have a chance of getting across without
being hit by an impatient Ca driver and most here are impatient specially
with older people for some reason. I do wish on wide wide streets they would set the lights to wait a little longer for older p eople in cross walks as we cannot run as easily as twenty year olds can.

Yes I always abide the traffic rules I don't want to be caught
by a policeman it is a big shy to me.Anyway I don't know how to
drive yet cause I don't have car, we have motorcycle but afraid
to drive. It is a kind of vehicle that prone to accident and it is
not a safety vehicle for me. I rather wish to practice in an
automobile than motorcycle. I will always follow the rules for
I don't want to be whistle by anybody heheheh. I will be careful
in crossing the streets and see to it that it is the right way
for passengers.

Hiya cloud,
None of us is perfect and I think we have all done something like that too. Personally I have not but the other day I was forced to run across a pedestrian crossings with the traffic lights that did not work and the cars did not go slow either they were crossing very fast so I made a run for it after getting fed up of waiting and being too polite as well.
Have a great weekend.xxx

I do try to abide by the safety laws for the safety of myself as well as others. It is much wiser to be safe, I live in a county full of curvy roads so the best way to be is safe with the speed especially.

hi cloud. just like you, i have violated some traffic rules like entering no entry roads, driving at the side walk, parking in no parking zones, over speeding, etc. but i try to always abide by the rules most of the times. i remember i was caught and apprehended for over loading. the penalty at that time was still law but the time you will spend in processing to claim back the license is the big question. aside from the seminar you should attend, as this is one requirement for apprehended drivers.

I'm really shocked at your driving habits. I always thought you were such a nice girl.
I try hard to be a courteous and safe driver. I haven't had any kind of tickets in many years. I always hated throwing my money away on having to pay for traffic violations.
Drive safely now!

Ha ha..What a great question to attempt to answer. Ummm, no. Not to say that I'm reckless and endangering myself or others, but I tend to speed (never usually more than 15 over the speed limit, and usually only on the highways, where pretty much everyone does it), and sometimes - if it's later and no one is around, I'll turn on a red light (when it's no turn on red) or turn on a red arrow (even though you're supposed to wait for it to be green). I'll also make rolling stops ("California stops", is what they're called), but never anything major. I try not to disobey TOO many laws or do anything crazy like cut people off and whatnot, as that's really annoying!

Well, the only traffic law that I will consciously not abide by is the speed limit. I've been a speeder for almost as long as I can remember, I know that I have a lead foot. Now, I know that there are other traffic laws that I will inadvertantly break from time to time, but they aren't something that I would intentionally do. When I am going a little faster than the speed limit I know that I still have control, but with other traffic laws, I don't really feel this is the case.

There's always a temptation to. But I can't afford to be fined. The enforcement is very strict here. In a way that's good for everybody. It's also a good thing to abide to. If you know you have always abided traffic law and regulations you sleep well at night and have peace of mind.
Thanks for the topic and have a good afternoon cloud!
