Howdy myLotters!
How are you all?
Well, I've always been seeing this ad on Turkish Airlines but I haven't been aboard it. From what I saw, I believe this airline is very beautiful to be a choice for travel. Well, I've been on a number of airlines and my favorites are Emirates, Qantas, Singapore, and my very own Philippine Airlines. I love the crew who are friendly, and the inflight entertainment. How about you myLotters? What are you favorite airlines and why? You can tell me positive and negative comments about the airline you want to talk about. This could be a good discussion because we all could benefit from it. Please feel free to post a response and we shall enjoy new ideas.
God bless yah all.
xoxo

I have been on Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, Air India, Emirates and Srilankan Airlines. Oh I forgot, Uzbekistan Airlines.
Of those, my favourite one would be Emirates. I love Emirates. Economy price, variety of in-seat movies, and well, Dubai Airport - not that I ever buy anything apart from little things here and there.
I absolutely hated Uzbekistan Airlines. Unprofessional, no in-seat movies, very dirty aircraft. I had to go because there was no other airlines having available seat at that time. Never been on it again. Air India came close second to Uzbekistan Airlines, unprofessional crew - they act as if they are doing you a favour. I don't expect them to treat me like a royalty (it won't hurt though), but a little courtesy would have been nice. My husband and my mother-in-law totally hated it too. I don't think we will be repeat customers.

Hi zralte.
Thank you for your response. It is very informative. I also love Emirates just like you, I agree with everything that you mentioned in your response. And yes, you are true courtesy is a must have for every cabin crew - if they applied and got the job then they should act on how their career entails them to do - be courteous, respectful, accommodating, friendly, and the like.
Enjoy your travel. Give my regard to your family.

If I don't consider the price it's SAS, mainly because they fly from where I live to quite a lot of places. If I consider the price it's a draw between KLM and Norwegian. Norwegian's cheaper but KLM has free food and you don't have to pay extra for luggage. There's only those three airlines flying from where I live, I've travelled with other ones but not so often. I had two great trips with Thai in 2004, great food, great service and hardly anyone on the plane :-)

Hello Torunn.
Welcome to my page and thank you for replying.
From your response, I could see that you are from Europe. Ja?
Thanks for the information. I've always heard of KLM I think it's a good airline too. Now, I know of a few new airlines - the ones you mentioned (thanks heaps). Glad to hear that you have also tried to travel to Asia aboard an asian airline.
Thanks.
Enjoy your travels.

Most people around here prefer Midwest Express but I've only flown 2x in my life and dunno when I'll ever get to go again. But folks around here rave about the leg room & fresh baked chocolate chip cookies.

Hi and welcome to mylot!
I travel every year with my online earnings. I can´t add a penny from my budget as I spend it all in everyday living. So I like all airlines that have budget tickets and belong at the same time to the IATA. If they do, they have to meet certain requisites and the risk is lower.
I live in Chile, in the south of South America, so going to a nice sunny place when there´s winter here involves planes. From here I have used for those reasons Copa (an airline from Panama) and Avianca (airline from Colombia). Both are as good as any other and cheaper.
The last time I was on a plne, I took Copa airlines and went to Cartagena de Indias and then to Kunayala (Panama) by sailboat. From Panama I flew back to Chile.

I would agree that Singapore are about the best but recently on my lst 2 flights from London to Vietnam, I have used Qatar Ailines. Absolutely 1st class! A joy to fly with them because the cabin crew are just so polite and professional. Even the ground crew are just as good. I will alwyas use them to Vietnam now.
