How Much Height is "Being" Tall in UR Opinion ???

mmm...i'm used to being around tall people. so it's ok for me. but if my neck hurts when i need to look into your eyes, then you're too tall for me..

Bro, I think 6 foot 2 is tall enough.. or just 6 foot will do. But 5'7 is not that bad as well. I think being tall or short, as long as the person's nice to hang out with, can do already. But by the way, why would he be embarrassed??

I don't think that I judge people by their tallness, although, I must confess that I am pleased with my own height and have never been interested in being shorter. So maybe if I had been born shorter I would have grown up lacking confidence over that. On the other hand, it is probably a bigger issue with guys. Still, being female, I would still prefer being "too tall" over being "too short." Fortunately, however, I am just right.

[Hi sunnycool, This is really hard for me as here we don't use feet and inches, we use centimetres, but I tried, and I'm pretty sure I'm 5'7. And I'm always making jokes about me and my brother being dwarfs, because my cousins are almost 6'7 (all 4 of them ) In my personal opinion, (having grown up in such a family) a man is not tall unless he's at least 6' tall. And even if he is 6' tall, I could just accept his being tall to the rest, but for me it's only normal height for guys.

Well Im about the height of your friend. I consider myself an average when it comes to height. Sometimes i feel tall too when I'm with people shorter than me. If Im with a friend who has a height that puts my height to shame, Im not embarrased at all because I have mind set "he maybe is taller than me but im sure Im way better when it comes to pleasing women" Im tall and others are just taller or shorter, that is how I see myself haha

I am five foot one inch and I think I am petite my husband is six foot three so I class him as tall. I wish i was taller because i feel everyone is looking down at the top of my head when they stand next to me. I think six foot is enough to call yourself tall but i would have liked to be five foot six as it seems a nice height for a woman to be.

That is how my husband used to tease me for being a shorty. nope I was not the tallest onein our family , sob sob I was the shortest one. Everyone had to reach the tope shelves for me and all teased me for being a shrimp as a kid. So I cannot categorize myself as tall, but as short, really short.I am five foot two inches tall in flats.

I'm short around 5 foot 1 inches tall so almost everyone and everything seems taller then me lol and sometimes I feel like the shortest person in the room oh well sometimes the best things in life come in small cute packages hahaha. By the way nice abes lol.

I am not sure but height is a combination of genes and nutrition during many generations. There are some races that are tallest than others. I am tall in my country (not terrible now, because the population´s height has increased) but if I went to the US I´d be medium. In my family we have all kinds of people. My older daughter is not so tall: she ytakes after some part of the family. The other one is very tall and her daughter (my grandaughter) is taller still. I don´t think anyone should be embarrased by his height. The real height is inside. Take care!

Hi sunnycool, In most cases here in USA it good thing to be tall especially you are male. You get paid more in salary and you get reach for things at the grocery for ladies etc... The clothes look better on tall people and modeling you have to be at 5'-8" tall to have that type of good career. My daughter is 4'-10" and that will be height for the rest of her life. im 5'3.. average height for a Filipina i beleive... and i look taller than my real height... lol 5'7 is already tall for me.. my bf is 5'10" way taller than me... anyway, i consider a person tall if they are already than me...

I am about 5'10" and I think that is pretty normal. I guess being tall in my opinion would be about 6'2" and up.

I'm female, and I am 5'11. Yes, pretty tall for a girl. So there is no such thing as too tall for me. I mean until I went to college, there were no guys in my class who were taller than me. I guess if a guy was 6'7 he would start getting in the range of what I would classify for myself as too tall. But I really like tall guys. I would feel so weird going out with a guy a lot shorter than I.

When I went to Malaysia I noticed that the bunks on the trains are about 5 foot 6 ins long. They are fine for the local people because they are all short. I visited the Netherlands and she some very tall people there and that included the ladies. I am 5 foot 7ins and I think I am fairly tall and I am certainly not short. In the Netherlands I felt short but in Malaysia I felt very tall. Tall or short is a relative thing depending on where a person lives. In my home country for a lady I think being tall is over 5 foot 6ins. For a man being tall is over 5ft 10ins. A man that is 6 foot 4ins is very tall indeed. Nobody can choose their adult height. My secondary school friend looks 7 years old when she was 14 years old. By adulthood she reached 5 foot 9ins.

I stand 5'7" so I consider myself tall when I was in the Philippines but few weeks after I arrived here in Middle East, wow! I ashamed with my height because most of our hotel guest (I am working in a hotel here) are foreigners: British, American, French, Australian, and our the local people here. When I make a conversation with I felt I am too small. Maybe If we talked also in personal I felt the same.

I'm taller than my sister and my mother, but both brothers and my dad are taller than me.

Our 5'11" son was considered the tall one in our family (I was 5'1" and my husband 5'7"), but he is dwarfed by his 6'3" seventeen year old son. At just one inch over 5 feet, I frequently felt like a child among other adults until I went home to visit my mother, who was 2 inches shorter. My daughter was the tall female in the family at 5'3" until her daughters came along. Her older daughter is 5'6". Her younger daughter is the same height but at 14 is still growing.

Interesting topic. I suppose when you are over 7 feet tall that would be too tall, but too tall for who a 4 foot person. My boyfriend is 6 feet 5 and I am 5 feet 5 inches so I love his height as I have always been approached by men who were 5 feet 7 and shorter which was a major problem cause then I had to cater my shoes to not be way taller than them. So with my boyfriend I can wear 4 to 5 inch heals and still feel comfortable about height. 5 feet 7 inches in my opinion is too short for a man. I feel that the best height to be classified as tall would be 5 feet 10 inches. But again it is my opinion. :)
