How many friends?

I have a facebook account but I only have seven friends. I don't want to add just anyone on my facebook account. I searched some old friends from high school but couldn't find any. Some of them don't have facebook accounts. When I first got my facebook, I was on it all the time. Now it is boring to me. I was thinking that if I had more friends on my account, then it would be more fun. I'm also starting to get a little sick of the games on facebook. I know some people have a lot of friends on there. I feel like everyone else has 100 plus friends on facebook. I enjoy chatting on the social networking website. My two friends that I like to chat with the most are usually not on that much. One of my friends only stay on for a couple of minutes at most. My other friend is hardly ever on, and when she is on...I always seem to miss her. When I first got my account, I would play petville and pet society but now I don't like those games at all. I like family feud, bejeweled blitz, slingo, uno and farkle. I don't even play the games as much. I only log on when I am bored. I was hoping to find some old friends from high school and add them but I can't seem to find any. So unless I talk to them on the phone, which I might not...maybe then I will be able to add them on facebook.

I love facebook and I have arounf 170 friends . Even i found difficulty in searching my old friends . But atlast I got a friend who was in my school and goodness gracious , I got all other people from his account . I don't understand why people consider FB as boring . I think games , applications and all rock in facebook and it is the best social networking site.............after mylot lol !

It might be boring to me because I don't have many friends. I was on it a lot when I first got my account. Now its just boring to me. I don't like many of the applications. I also don't like a whole lot of the games, but I'm finding out that there are more games on facebook than I thought.

I have both facebook and myspace acounts and have ZERO friends on either of them. I didnt even add some of my classmates form high school or college. Why should i, we didnt talk to one another then so what makes you think i wanna talk to you now. Besides my friends are few far and in between. Everybody that says they are your friend most of the time isn't. Also you have to be careful who you call friend and who you add to facebook/myspace these days.I joined to see what all the hype was about, but after joining i came to see there is nothing special that would keep me logged in for hours. But i do have a few (select few) friends that i have known my whole life and grew up with that i can call true friends.

My boyfriend is like that too. He does not have myspace though, neither do I. The only friends he got on Facebook are guys that he known since he was little (and still known each other well until today). Or friends who went to school with him from primary till college. Not that he is not friendly but he just knows he always got good friends :)

I love facebook. However I have 2 accounts. One just for gaming which are strictly for the games that I play on them since alot of the games you need many many players to help you. That account has over 4000 ppl on it. My other account is strictly for people from school, work, groups that I was once in and many friends that I have known over the years. I know each and everyone on there. That one is as well for family. I have over 2500 on that just alone. If I combined the two it would be way too hard for me to keep track of things.

Wow you are social! I don't think I will ever have that many friends on facebook. But I guess you never know. One day I might. It took me a while to get the courage to add a few people that I usually wouldn't add. So maybe in time I will add more and more people.

have you tried looking on Friends' friends so you can find your other friends on Facebook? Adding on Facebook can be viral especially when others see that you have been added by a common friend, others may also add you as well through wall updates.
There are lots of games to kill the boring, there are lots! I used to play ninja saga, mafia wars, castle age, battle station, wild ones, pirates of the carribean and more.
If you have your friends' emails, you can invite them through Facebook.But I think you already know this so you have no option but to find them them or invite them personally to register.

I have already searched on my friends on facebook. I know, I want to add more people as friends but I don't want to add just anyone. I want to add friends that I know in life. I have never played any of those games on facebook. I've only played the games that I have listed. Perhaps it is time to try some of those games. Although right now I am kind of in the middle of a few games that I downloaded from shockwave which are fun.

I have a bit over 200 friends, and they are all people I know in real life and keep in touch with otherwise as well. I don't really see the point of adding just anyone to your friend list so, I don't have any people I don't know on it.
I'm not super active on Facebook or anything but I think it's a great site, I just don't feel like I have enough time for it.

I wish I had more friends on facebook. I guess I am not as social as you are. I don't even know 200 people. Right now I have too much time on my hands, so I have been on there a bit more than usual. That might be one of the reasons it is starting to get boring to me.

When I started using FB, I first only have 15 friends which they are all my boyfriend's friend. I got invited by one of my good friend, then my boyfriend got invited by his bestfriend. All his bestfriends are on Facebook, so when they knew we were on, they all invited us to be their FB friend. As far as I remember, my boyfriend then never really paid an attention to it...he hates it when there is like a guy or girl from his old school wanting to be his friend on Facebook. When I asked why, he said, "we never even said one hello to each other, and I barely can remember this person". Sometimes he has to call all his bestfriends and asked them who the guy or who the girl is. And one of them would say, "Oh she was my good friend at school"....Then he would say, "oh, not ours"....Haha. But he is nice, just being practical sometimes, even to me. Well, as for me..I used to play Crazy Taxi, and Tomato Bounce a lot in Facebook.... but then I started getting bored, and I don't really visit my page anymore. Until one day, I decided to search for my High School name on Facebook.... and it was amazing, all my good friends, class mate were there. So now, I'm kind of active again updating my profile. :))

My boyfriend doesn't even have a facebook account. I first got my facebook account when a good friend moved away and wanted me to get one. I started out with only two friends. Now I only have seven. I feel pathetic, haha. I'm just not that social. Hopefully when I catch up with an old friend or my boyfriend then I will be able to add some friends on facebook from school. I would like to get more friends. I would like more than seven. I also don't like to add people I don't know or barely know. I feel like I need to be a friend of yours to add you as a friend.

I share your dim opinion of Facebook's games. What is worse, is some of those games charge real money for virtual goods.
I do however like the fact you can post pictures on Facebook. I put that feature to an unusual use.

I have lots of friends on facebook some of them my elementary classmates and schoolmates, high school friends including my classmates and school mates. To add on I have also on my friends list all my colleges friends and classmates.
Do you know why I have lots of friends on facebook? They are from my network of friends from all my online sites that they support me with all their best. I have friends also from mylot.
You can make friends on facebook even they are not your close friend, you can invite many friends to become your network and invite them to join some of your programs like mylot and any other.
Don't be limited only to the friends you knew personally. Instead, explore facebook and make a fun.

I have quite a lot of friends in Facebook. Most of them are my classmates from highschool and college, colleagues and few relatives. I seldom check facebook though. I usually log on to facebook to keep in touch with my long lost friends and I found it amazing. I found myself getting amazed by looking at my friends and see how changed them been. Some grew up into good-looking individual and some are now successful. I think it's a pretty good site to connect with other people.

I agree that facebook is a good site to connect with people. I'm glad I have an account. Otherwise I would loose contact with some good friends. Hopefully I will add some more friends sooner or later. I only have one friend that was from my high school, she moved to another state and we are not that close anymore. I am glad that I have her on facebook though. At least we didn't fall completely out of contact.

I have a Facebook account but I don’t log in very often. I am not all that keen on the site, to be honest. It has been good for me because I managed to find a couple of old friends and a cousin I had not seen in about twenty years but as far as spending time there, it’s not really my thing and one the reasons is that, like you, I find my friends are not around when I am. I prefer to come here, I am never bored on MyLot and there is always someone to ‘talk’ to!

I also prefer mylot to facebook. I know a lot of people really enjoy facebook. I don't log in as much as I used to either. Recently I have been kind of bored though, so I have been logging in a little more. I wish my friends were online more often to chat to.

I too have only a handful of friends on facebook; its just too boring on facebook! everyones profile looks the same! on myspace however, its a different story; I have ocer 1000 friends- many to play mobsters. I also have megan fox as a member of my team/squad on one of my game apps;plus all my favourite youtube videos are on my myspace profile. facebook doesn't let you put vids on your profile, which is lousy.

Facebook lets you put videos on the status updates. I hardly ever go on myspace anymore. All of my friends use facebook now except for one. Only one person I know right now still uses myspace. I kind of know what you are saying though. I enjoy facebook more than myspace myself though. I get tired of updating my profile, plus I never like how it turns out. Or I like it for about a week and then I want to change my profile on myspace. I wish my one friend that uses myspace would use facebook. It's aggravating to log into the website just for one friend. We don't chat that often anymore.
