What was the last thing you bought and once you got it you really didn't like it. For me it was those "Space Saver Hangers" the once you see on TV and it looks so nice and neat when they hang there clothe on them. Well it doesn't work all that well for me.. My clothe don't hang flat and every time I want to take something out I have to find it first. What useless gadget have you bought lately?

My new 3G cell phone. I was terribly happy when I bought my new 3G enabled cellphone. It was a basic model but I thought of the speed of the net alone. But the camera(2 megapixel) is not worth it and the volume of the speakers are not satisfactory. The worst thing is, the speaker is at the back of the phone and within the shirt pocket, it is very low audible. I wonder, why I bought this in a hurry.

I bought an expensive pair of shoes last month, it was really nice and fancy. When I tried it at the shop it felt comfortable and nice. But when I wore it the next day, I started getting pain and blister around my foot (even though I had socks on). I hated the shoes so much that I ended up throwing it away. I didn't think anyone would like it. I was just pissed off of how much I spent on it, but well, it was merely my fault. :-)

I actually have a pair still in my closet that hurt my feet too. I should have saved the receipt and took them back but like yours they felt good at first.

Well, it's sad how stuff that we can't wear actually is the one that we got compliment with comes from. Hmmm...I should believe it by now that beauty is really a pain :-) haha!

The last thing I bought that I didn't really like was an anniversary ring that I bought a few months ago. It looked pretty online, but once I got it I was rather disappointed. It didn't look anything like the picture. And what's even worse is it looked kind of manly in person too. I would have kept it and worn it anyway, but I decided to return it after my husband compared it to Geordi's visor from Star Trek. After all, I wasn't looking for a visor, I was looking for a ring! LOL As far as gadgets go, it was a bluetooth that I bought a couple of years ago. The one I ordered didn't work when I got it and when I sent it in for a replacement they sent me an "upgraded version" adding a note stating that they didn't make the one that I ordered anymore. Well, I didn't want to have to return this one too, so I tried using it for a little while. The darn thing was so heavy on my ear though that I gave up on it soon after and ended up buying (and using) a different one altogether. Now that darn thing just sits in the drawer collecting dust. LOL Happy mylotting!

Same here. However, sometimes it's more convenient or cheaper to buy it online. And sometimes it's the only way it can be bought, like when it came to that ring I returned.

I hardly ever buy anything on line. The things I did buy like the hangers some knives and a cushion all were worthless. I rather go to a store and feel and touch stuff before I buy it.

Are those the same as the "Huggable Hangers" that Joy Mangano sells? I was thinking about buying them. Was wondering if anyone actually tried them or not. I haven't bought any gadgets lately but everyone I bought it the past turned out to be useless. I need to stop watching infomercials.

I think the space saver organizer I saw form a japanese shop. I bought it just because I thought it was cute but I have never used it. I just stock it up in the cabinet. I think when buying you should think and ask others opinion so you won't end up regretting that you bought that thing.

Hmmm gadget? I have bought some hangers as well, they are plastic thin ones so for my small wardrobe, I thought it would be better that heavy wooden ones which take lot of space. All in all plastic ones really take smaller space in wardrobe but they are not strong enough, two of them are already broken. I think I need to change my wardrobe to bigger one and then I will buy these wooden ones again...

I ordered a gadget (over the phone) that looked like a great tool for processing vegetables. It could chop, slice, dice, grate. Looked wonderful. The first time I used it I almost cut my finger off. Not because I was stupid or careless, but due to the design. When you used it, your fingers had to be very close to the cutting edge. One slip (and you are handling produce so your hands may be wet) and you will henceforth be known as "Three-finger Jake". I returned it and got a refund.

Well i don't buy much gadgets but the last gadget which my mom bought was a papad maker. They are a type of snack(papad). The salesman convinced us and he made those snacks right in front of us using that machine and my mom it would be better than frying them in deep oil so she bought it. But after that it was not working properly and my mother cursed him badly as we had lost a lot of money.
