Hello, I remember when I'm in my school days my favorite subject is Math. And they say if you're good in Math or your not good in English. Well i think it's true :)
Because my English is poor.
How about you what's your favorite subject when you are students before, English or Math?
Students are also welcome to answer and share they're ideas.
happy lotting.

I love both subjects very much.. English and Math are my highest grades ever when i was in high school. I think it's just a say say that if you are good in English you will not be good in Math or vice versa, if a student really is good at those two then they are really good at it. If a student just love English more than math then he/she may really be good at English.

My favorite was history. I spend many hours reading about Roman Empire, Middle Age and wars. Between English and Math i was good in english. I dont like it and i never understand geometry , mathematical analysis and trigonometry but usual mathematics- algebra was ok. But that was in highschool now i regret i didn give attention to math there was days when i really need it.

My husband and I made a perfect pair. I wrote the letters, etc., while he worked the math side of the marriage. However, in the last year's of his career, he was pushed to learn correct business letter writing and became quite good at it. Nevertheless, he deferred to me for anything written because he never learned to enjoy it.

I prefer English. I've never been a Math person. I'm pretty good with it, but I still don't like it at all. Numbers are my arch enemies! I'd take words any day.
Granted, I don't always like my English teachers. I happen to love to read. I read everyday and I'm never seen without a book. But I can't stand the books that my English teachers want me to read! They're always awful dystopian novels with tragic endings, or something so horribly symbolic you have to read spark notes to understand it.

I've always loved the predictability of Maths which makes it very easy for me to learn Maths. There are just so many ways to solve a Maths problem. You either get it right or you get it wrong. There's no in between. This is why Maths is my favorite subject. It's so straightforward. As long as you know the steps to take to solve a problem, you get the question right.
I love writing and therefore I do love English too. And I must say that I do fairly well in both Maths and English. So I must be an anomaly to what is normally said about people who are good in Maths.

English was my favorite subject in high school. It came so easily to me. Math was a different story all rogether. I did not do well in math in school. It was so frustrating. I would spend so much time on Math that I would become disillusioned. Both Math asnd English are important school subjects. I just couldn't master the math.

My favourite subject is undoubtly English. I don't understand any math. Furthermore, i really hate it. Those numbers, unknown x and y dont look cute for me :)
But I always dreamt about solving hard math problems...

I was really bad at Math. I mean, really really bad - on a scale from 2 to 10, my average vote was 4, lol. My Math teacher was really funny though, and she liked me - and she never understood how could I be totally awful at Math and brilliant in Physic, I had 9.
I was really good in English and other foreign languages (German, Latin, Ancient Greek) I learned in high school too, though, and in Literature as well.
So yeah, I was on the English side. :)

MATH. I am good in math. Well actually our family our good in math, so math for us is not a problem. I think this is already in our genes. I hate literature, for me this is boring. Sorry no offend to others. Or maybe my professor is boring thats why it is boring to me.

First, I don't think your English is poor. I think you are just modest:) I think there is no a relationship between English and maths. You can be good at both of these subjects:) I have seen my classmates who are good at them. But when I was a student, my maths was not good, too.
I love China

Hi, in my school days I was opposite to you. Math was my most unfavorite subject. Literature(not English) was my favorite subject. Bengali is my mother tongue. I love Bengali novels and poems. For my profession sake I had to learn English.

Math was my favorite and I was very good at it. I was not so much with English. I later in my adult life perfected my English on my own as I knew that working in business it would be important.

I vote to English! Though i'm not an expert, i like it more than Math... i remember during college, I was overwhelmed by the comment of my English teacher. She said I could be a writer, after giving us a project of writing 10 articles. I could never forget also that I nearly flunked my first Math subject back then. Glad I was able to surpass it! Whew! :P
