How do you feel receiving a weird phone call at midnight?

hmm, the last time i had that was about 1 or 2 years ago. my cell phone rang in the middle of the night and since it was just beside me, i picked it up. i didn't know who the person on the other line was. i asked him and he told me he just guessed my number. :/ i was curious of who he was but i didn't like the fact that he called in the middle of the night without any good reason. :o

Hahahaha. That was funny. A few months ago I got a call at around 2am, asking if we could be text mates, I don't think I said anything, I just cut the line, hehehe. I was so sleepy, and a few minutes later she called again, asking questions about my personal life, I was so annoyed that I just turned off my phone. Hehehe. I have no time to pick a fight as I was so sleepy. The next morning I posted her number on facebook and I wrote that no, I don't want to be textmates. LOL.

Depends. If it's an emergency from a family member or a friend I wouldn't mind and help them. If it's from some creep I would report them to my provider. Making such calls is also 'SPAM' and as such forbidden by law.

I don't feel good about a phone call at midnight. I am always afraid that a phone call that late at night is bad news. The only times i have received a late late night phone call, the call has just been a prank. When that telephone would ring, an uneasy feeling would be in my stomach. My heart would beat faster and I would hesitate to pick up the phone. I am always relived when the call was not life threatening in any way. People need to leave jokes like that alone.

For me I never mind the call and still sleeping because I feel headache more after all if i wear entertain again.

It happend to me someone call me at that hour.... i was very angry...now i close my phone in the night.

I have never experienced prank callers in the wee hours of the night. I do get the usual text scam claiming that I've become a millionaire. But aside from that, I don't get any calls. I don't post or give out my number anyway, and a lot of my friends complain about my being "hard to reach".

Hi, donnelly. That was very funny, lol..I bet he won't try calling you back again after what you put on him!! Ha! Ha!! He is crazy to be calling someone that late looking for a text mate. Is he dumb or what?

your post makes me laugh as in still looking for text mates huh? You know what sometimes I am pretending that I am a guy too and how come he wants to talk with me to have a date hahahah... .

Yes I too had experience about this pranks. There is some people who is calling to me from unknow number in night sometimes It is about 1.00am sometimes 3.00am they call and do not saying anything or say I make a misstake with number, but once one people was ask what time shows clock. I am so angry then this people call me and now I turn off my phone when I go sleeping, because I do not want receive this calls anymore. I just thinking If someone call me who is in dangerous, but my phone is turned off. Take care, Have a nice day!

Good for you! Yes I would be P O if someone called and or text me at that hour as a joke and or kidding. My first reaction would be to yell and scream and say don't ever call my cell again as you are on a recorded line to my headquarters at the station. HA!

If somebody would call me at midnight even if they are my friends, I too gets irritated, Especially if I had a tiring day at work. Some people just dont realize that by those hours(midnight) we are in our deep sleep, wherein we get the best rest

I do not like being disturbed in my sleep with strangers looking for textmates. I pity them actually, they do not have friends that they need to text randomly for stranger's numbers.I wonder why they need to go to that extent.I guess they are a bunch of craps since people does not want them to be their friends. If you have friends texting randomly looking for " friends" " textmates" will not even enter your mind.

I will throw my phone away or would give him really bad things to him i rely get angry when some one brake my drams i fell like what should i do and my mom is also like that once i was beaten by her so bad that i was in hospital that day...

Hi Donnely, Once I got a prank caller in the middle of the night. The guy on the other line said he's looking for a place for some really famous local artists who will be staying in my town to shoot for a movie, and asked if I could accommodate them. It was obvious that he was a prank caller coz I heard voices laughing in the background. So I told him, I was the wife a famous military official in our country (mentioned a really famous name) and that I have his number and I'll be sending military men to his place to pick him up adn lock him in prison for the night. That did it and he immediately put down the phone.

if its not registered in my phonebook then perhaps i will answer it as maybe its an emergency call but if its a wrong number then i can just simply say its wrong number and closed the call, if that person still keep on calling me then i will tell him to report the number to the network operator so they can ban the number if he will not stop. if his still persisting then i will turn it off and forget about the call.

Ive gotten some calls I dont know who it is from. I do not like picking up phone calls from people I don not know because one I dont like talking on the phone and why would I talk to someone I never talked to before. Plus at midnight i would just ignore that call and probably never even call back lol.

Hi! I also experience this last year. It was nine in the evening and I'm just preparing myself to bed when somebody called at my mobile phone and ask me if her boyfriend is with me who named "Jonas". I said "sorry you've dialed the wrong number" and then put the call off. Few seconds later, she called again persisting that I should gave the phone to "Jonas". The hell know who is Jonas she's pertaining too. I burst with anger and said again I don't know that name and stop calling me. But she didn't stop at all and still persisting to let her talk to her boyfriend. I decided to shut off my cellphone. The next day morning, somebody text me saying if I could be her text mate. he even introduced himself and his name was "Jonas". I didn't replied it cause I know this two is just making fun of me.
