My kitchen sink has a nice, small pile of dirty dishes, piled up to the ceiling.
It's right now between semesters (assuming that your Algebra 111 is a college class). If you still need to take more math, I have a master's in electrical engineering, & some of those classes did turn out to be more like an Algebraic manipulations (or algebraic mutilations) class.

With the math, in order to learn it well, you need to do the homeworks. Sometimes there are pitfalls & stuff, but as it's been said, practice makes perfect.

Yeah, I'm finding out why accountants need so much math.
Job order & processing costs...sheesh.
It's a good thing I actually enjoy that type of work, lol.
Btw, I got a B in the 111 class. Should have been an A, but I have already been there & done that with that same instructor and his wife in H.S.
The grade can't be changed, but I have been told he won't be asked to come back next semester due to so many complaints.
Hell, I taught his algebra class in h.s. and did it again in college...wonder why so many students are complaining...go figure.

My sink is piled up too. Yes, I'm at the end of semester break now (this thread was started a while back), and I managed a B in the 111 class. Couldn't get into 112 this semester, but will be taking 118 next semester. Turns out I will need alot of math to become and accountant. It's not that I can't do it, it was just toward the end of the semester and I didn't want to do it, lol, but of course I did do it.

I hope you got a good grade for your homework, now 5 weeks ago! Er, I should be in bed so I can get up early the next morning, but I find this site addictive, and I say to myself, just ten more minutes, another ten won't hurt and then it gets to midnight, then one o clock and the time just vanishes, I crawl into bed at 2am sometimes like your good self. My excuse is, that housework is done and everything else can wait!

aha. I detect a guilty conscience!!! yeah I can be a little judgemental today? Just cos its the only day I am not supposed to be doing anything - its my day off. other times, I goof off at office and take a break with my lot, so I am just as guilty!!

Whatever I blow off today, I have an excuse. Gave myself a good bump in the side of the head today, so since my head is pounding, I may as well slack for a few hours until I feel safe enough to sleep.

Well, good question that I think deserves good answer, but the funny thing is I don't have a good answer.
I can alway study for my job. I have an interview coming up on early next week, so I should be preparing. There are always things to do, but I wonder Internet forum for like this is some outlet or is making people more secluded.

ah, so you were already skipping class when you discovered MyLot! Whew! ya almost had me thinkin' we Lotaholics are a bad influence, lol. I can tell you this much about MyLot, it's a fun place to make friends, a good place to network and they pay thru PayPal.
...but, as much as I love it here, they aren't going to pay you enough to be skipping class. What are you studying?
My major is accounting, classes resume Monday for me.

Actually visitorinvasion I should be organising myself to go to Melbourne, or at least part of the way, as we have to be there tomorrow for a specialist appointment. Oh well, my husband hasn't come in yet to say anything but I had better get into gear because it is now 6.30 p.m. and we do have to drive about 4 hours tonight so then we will only have a 3 hour drive in the morning. :)
However, I do have to say that this is much more fun than packing the car. Maybe if I take long enough my husband will do it for both of us. No, better do my share or he will forget half of my things that i need. LOL

well, it's sunday morning here and i'm in mylot while my bf is online as well doing his stuff and we're both watching movie at the same time...so i guess there's nothing to do now except to mylot...but we'll be going to check out the new shopping complex in town later today...:D

It's Sunday morning here too. And my husband is on the bedroom pc while I am in my office. Small world sort of.
And for once, I'm actually doing what I am supposed to be doing...working. lol
I have about a dozen windows open checking email, submitting to search engines, sending out list mails and surfing all while answering posts at mylot. hahaha
