Have you ever had problem on sagging fat under your arms? Its like another swinging prob when you wave your arm and you just hate its shape and just make you feel so embarrassed. Well, I have the same problem as yours. Dis you already solve such problem? What kind of exercise that needs to be done and is dieting necessary? Can exercising the arms makes it more muscular?

I have that problem but it is not as bad now. I do the put the weight in both hands, lift the weights by bending the elbow 15 times, then lift the weights to the back using just the lower arms. Then I will lift the weights straight over my shoulders at each side. It does help a bit. I also do a lot of walking and I do try to watch my weight, but at my age it is par for the course. With all the making bread, and preparing meals, one's upper arms do eventually look like those of Popeye the Sailor Man. You will gain muscles, but they will not look bulky like a guys. But you will look smoother and will be able to wear sleeveless without looking like an old lady.

I am short, just under five feet four and I am large bones. I took after my dad, darn it! He was the runt of the family. Oh I also took after my maternal grandmother but she was just short and she had a nice face - my face with its receding chin - well you know why I have not put a photo of myself up here lately = I do not want to scare everyone. I have wide shoulders, but I am in proportion, but am also short wasted and it is hard for me to find something that does not make me look like a lady wrestler. But I really have to work on my arms or I will look more like Popeye.

I'm not that watchful on my weight and I just have a prob on my body proportion. I got a small body but a bigger arms and may shoulders are wider than my hips that's why I look manly which I really hate.

I am young and dont yet have the sagging under my arms but I find the best thing to keep your arms toned up is chair/table dips - if you have a really sturdy/solid coffee table or chair stand with your back to it - extend your body and legs in front of you - keep your arms extended and body straight - slowly lower yourself down bending your elbows until your arms are approx parallel to the ground (dont go any lower than this) If you find it really hard to do you can bend your legs slightly to take on some of the pressure. Doing a curl with small weights is also a good idea as is lifting the weights by putting them at your side and lifting while your arms are straight until they are in line with your shoulder blades. For a woman unless you are lifting really heavy weights you will not make your body more mascular

REally! What I really wanted to know is losing those wings but not making my arms muscular thanks for the info. I really learned a lot from those excercises and I don't need to carry heavy weights. :)

Yes really easy to do at home and you dont need to go out and buy extra equipment. I use soup cans for my weights. It may not seem like very much weight but once you do a few sets of lifting them they feel very heavy

I think the best way to get rid of these chicken wings is like anything else. A sound nutritious diet with weight lifting. Start with 8-10 repetitions and a weight you can lift..increase your weights as you get stronger. Push ups are also great for under arm flab, start with modified and advance to a regular push up! This is what I have been doing and it works!!
