When I was in High School, I really hate History because it's somewhat boring! Even it's boring to me,History is not USELESS! It helps us to be proud and to be nationalistic to our country and of course to know the history of some countries. And when I was in College, I dare to like History. Math? Nope, I love numbers!

I hated anything to do with mathematics which is funny because my sister loves it. I used to enjoy writing and I still do! Science was okay. We used to do Social Studies which included history; that was okay depending on the subject we were learning at the time. It has been a long time since I was at school, and I mean a LONG time!

I hated math and still do..Sure I use some math when I am cooking, but the root of a number? I don't need it or use it..My favorite was English, and though history wasn't my favorite either, I think it depends on whose history. Since I like to write, history is important for writing about places when you consider the past. Also it gives me an idea of how a particular country had started and what they went through..
You mention marathi as your mother tongue..I never heard of this language, from what country is it spoken in?

The subjects i really hated most is our own Language "Filipino". I am not ungrateful to my country and i love speaking our language but what is the real sense of making ourselves really adept in speaking the native language if we are already using this most of the times! Plus i hated the all of the teachers that handled the subject from all levels in High School. They are all boring. But the good thing is, i still passed every year with an above average mark! Thank God.

Lol I'm Filipino, but I'd be annoyed if I had to take a class on my native language too. . .I moved to America when I was 5 though so English is my primary language now so it would be quite difficult relearning it again even though I understand it for the most part, I just can't reply back in Tagalog. In either case, I hate it when schools hire "boring" teachers, they should not hire only hire people based on credibility but on personality as well!

Absolutely true! but then they should also train the teachers of the lively methods of teachings just before they graduate so that in the future these kids will surely not be bored from them. We should not base hiring teacher on their personality because we lack teachers nowadays especially here in our country.

I hated science because the teachers couldn't hold the class together, most people spent the lesson talking to each other which made it somewhat pointless to attend and it really frustrated me how the science teachers didn't try to interact better with the class.
The lessons was very dull but I didn't see why the teachers couldn't be more strict.

Why are most answers Math and Science? Both are great subjects even if it's kinda hard..i still love it! I hated history very much..i always have a lower grade in that subject but i never fail..thank God! I know it's somehow important but i really don't know why my mind goes blank when history is being discussed.

Like you, I absolutely hate history class. Having to memorize all those dates and names and places for the exams gives me headaches. And I don`t think we get to us them anyway when we work in the future.

I really didn't enjoy Maths as I'm not very good at it and it just confused me. I also hated Geography as we had a really boring teacher, so I found it very dull. I also disliked all the Sciences as they just aren't interesting to me. My favourite subvjects were English, French and German.

I don't like the word hate but I certainly had a very difficult time with math. It was my hardest subject and, yet, I know it is the one thing we need in daily life. I did my best to get through it but I always find myself shutting down all other activities if I need to do a mathematical problem.

dear abj,
the least in my favorites is history; dont get me wrong - not the history itself but the memorizing of dates.

I think Hate is a wrong word to describe this. Anyways, I was scared and bored of History. Maths came next especially the Algebra and Trignometry.
What made History dull and boring was that I am never interested in knowing the past and till date have never understood why they teach History at school. Does it make sense? I mean how would it matter if you read about British ruling over the world for almost 2 centuries? or How would it matter to know something dated ages back?
Anyways, now I am preparing for the worse - I have to teach History to my brother's kid next year. He already has mentioned that he would love reading History from me! I do not know where from did he get this idea...

In my school days, i felt history and social science subjects as difficult. I cannot memorize the years and incidents. Always will get sleep in history class.
Same in Social science too. Even i couldnt remember what is the concept of social science. What are the contents.
All other subjects are somewhat ok. I cannot say i was interested in all others. But i managed. :)
