DH in two parts?

There was a discussion about it for a while and I was skeptical about it. Is it true though! I am glad because the last book was so good and if it was just one movie so much would be left out. Plus it is a way for movie producers to make more money!

I have heard of the rumors but if it really is true as what you have mentioned xandavon, well i really don't like the idea of having the seventh HP movie into two parts. Most of the story's peak are in the last chapters of the book so what will the first part of the movie be? Full of talks and all? Not much action and thrills in it..

It is an open secret. The last book is going to be in two parts while making film out of it. I am happy in the sense, many parts of the book will be covered in this way. This being the last one, it will be a dual treat to all Potter fans.

Well, it's not a rumor anymore. The first part of the movie will be on November 2010 and the second part will be on July 2011. I think it's a good idea that they made it into two parts because it has lots of twists in the book. (Actually, I was a bit disappointed on the 3rd movie, prisoner of azkhaban because it's too short in the movies.) Oh, I'm so excited about it. Have you seen the trailer? You should!!!

Well, first off, it's definitely not a rumor. it's been planned like that for quite some time now. I'm actually pretty happy about that though. there's so much that goes on in those books, and if they cut much of any of it out, i know i'd just end up leaving the theater disappointed. plus, it postpones the feeling of emptiness i know i'm going to feel when, for the first time since i was 7, there will be no more harry potter to look forward to =/

Yes the movie is divided into two feature length movies. the first one just came out last month and the second one will be released next year.

I think its okay if its going to be divided in to two parts. As long as they are going to put more details in the movie. The only disadvantage I can think of is that I have to wait for a long time for the second part. The first part will be November this year and the next part will be July next year. That's a very long time.

It's not a rumor. It even says it on the trailer. It has been decided a long time ago. I personally love this idea. It means more scenes will be included and don't forget that this is supposed to be the last so I am thrilled that we're getting 2 instead of 1.

It's a Fact...and personally I like the idea. Because in the HP movies before this, the story in the book was way better than the movies. This is because they left some of the critical stuff out of the movie. So I actually hope that they will put more of that stuff in the last two movies.

The seventh movie should be as complete as possible and they should really stick to the book. I can't wait for the movie to come out. Hope it won't be a disappointment like a few HP movies I know.
