ok, posting a pouplar discussion can get very exhausting because you have to respond back to every 50 something discussion comments. I'm in the process right now responding to about 5 discussions i started and my poor fingers are hurting from all the typing lol. so which would you prefer? to start a discussion or to just respond to one? ...................................................... p.s. right now i'm into responding to a discussion rather than starting one anytime soon, until i can feel my fingers again lol! thanks for sharing!!

I have started a single discussion but its been a week until now I only received one response. I better respond to a new topic since it would be entertaining plus I get to read other people's opinion that could enrich my perspectives in life.

I rather also respond in a discussion rather than to start discussion coz you can see somebody else points and comments, why others agree or not with the comments being posts and their reasons it's like debate sometimes

Personally, there is Good and bad in doing both. And overall, the amount you can earn in here from doing both can be different and interesting as well. So overall I feel the Best thing especially to get known from others around you, is to do a little bit of both. Start New discussions such as you have done here, and then take time to respond back to others discussions as well as your own to get yourself known, and to learn a little more about the others around here as well.

I would but rather respond to a discussion than ask one! I'm not very good at replying to people who comment on my discussions, so I really dislike doing that because thinking of a response to someone's answer to my discussion is two times as challenging as thinking of a response to just someone's question in general. I'm sorry you are replying to everyone, but I'm sure they appreciate it lots! :D

For me, answering discussion is a lot easier than posting one because I don't have to think that much, I will just choose a topic to answer, but in posting a discussion I have a hard time thinking what topic to discuss and post and of course I have to write it longer so that it would not be deleted by the admin so it is a bit taxing.hehehe

I would rather start a discussion than respond to one... If we are capable to start good discussions which fishes out many responses... this will enhance participation and earnings too..

hi friend, thanks for starting such a discussion..!!! I am into both starting and responding. If i get a bright idea, then i'll start a discussion. I love when people respond to my discussions and replying to that doesnt hurt me much. I also like responding to topics which i like, which are unique and interesting.I feel that one should be involved in both starting and responding.

Hey, Keshia, I think it's discussion make you exhaustingIt's a joke. I think I prefer to respond discussion, as it seems my discussions are not popular. Yes, it's a hard work to post comments of a hot discussion. But in another way, I should say "congratulations" to you, as it means your discussion is popular. So you may think it as a special honor Anyway, congratulations! Good job!

lol, thanks a lot! That was nice of you. From what I've read a lot of mylotters prefer to respond than to start a discussion. Some have the best of both worlds. Today, I would just consider myself lucky! Sometimes I have a popular discussion, sometimes I don't either way thanks again!!

Hi Keshia, I prefer responding to discussions rather than making my own. Indeed it's hard enough to think of a good topic that will appeal to the mylot members, but responding to each response is yet another mind-boggling task, but of course it's fun too. I do start a discussion when I feel that I need my fellow lotters' thoughts.

I like to start or respond to discussions here. I find that i enjoy responding to the discussions of others more though. There is just something about contributing your thoughts where someone else began. Sometimes i thought can pop into your head that makes a terrific discussion. Responding to these is what makes this site worthwhile.

It depends. When there is something that I want to discuss and share, then I make or start discussions. However, if there isn't anything that I need to share, then I just respond to discussions.

I totally understand what you mean, I like doing both, however when you do get a popular discussion going, it can make you exhausted by trying to be polite and respond back to everyone. The plus side is though you get money for everything you type, so sometimes it is easier to respond to a lot of people in one discussion, than trying to find enough discussions in one day that you want to respond to.

thank you. i completley agree. this is why i'm more than likely to start a discussion than respond to one. thanks for sharing!

I will prefer a mixture of both, starting and responding. There will be more interaction with others as well as being able to boost our earnings. Sometimes, when we think our started post can attract alot of respondents but it can turn out otherwise instead. Therefore, it's better to have some mixture so that we gain some loyal followers for our earning power.. Also not to forget, it's always good to have more responds to your started discussions because it shows that u are on the right track!!

Hi keshia, On a daily basis I would rather respond to others discussion topics .I normally start 4-5 discussions in a month . I find it much better that way to space out my discussions than crowding the place with many of them....I know of members who start not one but 10 discussions in a day and honestly I admire them, because they have the patience and are able to find so many topics LOL...All the best and happy mylotting

It's usually easier for me to respond but I find myself doing both with no hesitation. It's cool how such a simple topic can become so popular as your's did. As you can see, I enjoy replying to these types of topics and hopefully I can make a discussion that becomes popular as well. :)

I am flexible to wide variety of topics so I'm cool with responding discussions. The advantage of starting your own discussion is that you can thoroughly discuss with other members since you know the topic very well. I am having a great time responding to other discussions.

Hello there! I would rather respond to a discussion than to create a topic. Let's all admit it. It is very hard to think of a fresh and nice topic to start a discussion with. Then you will have to respond to each of the members who posted their opinions. Of course you have to thank each of them for exerting extra effort respond to this. Anyway, I still manage to post one topic every day so that atleast I have something to work upon.
