would you ban a sound forever?

we all moan when we hear a certain sound that is plain annoying or makes our teeth stand on edge but would you ban your most hated sound forever from your hearing? after all when the sound of the workmans drill stops is'nt the peace and quiet that much more precious?

Where have ya been ? I think my peeve is house alarms going off for no other reason than a butterfly landed on them lol and always when the people are on holidays.

The noise I would ban would be the dentists drill. That noise is so annoying in the waiting room. As a kid it used to freak me out the drill even the needle didn't worry me as much.

This is such a fun discussion, I had to throw my two cents in.
For some reason I hate the sound of people whistling.
People do it at work, in the grocery store. It seems anywhere I am I hear people whistling and it drives me crazy for some reason. I would ban whistling.

i really hate to hear the big horn sound that is used by 2 wheelers which is suppose to use by heavy vechicles!!! wanna ban i will ban that huge sound from a small two wheelers
